Good news for all members who passed Sep 2020 final interview. SB has started calling for oath. I got a call today morning & my appointment is on 27th July morning.
Qualtrough & BkkBike09 brother, please check with your SB officer, if you haven’t got appointment yet.
Thanks to all senior members who shared their valuable experience in this forum to the new members.
I wish David143 & all other members waiting for their RG publication, will get the same soonest, hopefully within this month.
Congrats! Great news that some gov't sectors are still working. Now if they'd only get those RG out as well...

Not giving up hope that the crisis might do what street protests and the suppressed opposition are not able to do.

Drove back to Bangkok early Saturday morning from Hua Hin - no checkpoint at all.
Anyone drove from Bangkok to Hua Hin during today Saturday?

A few months after our Sept interview my wife spoke with someone's wife who said her friend at the MOI said that 108 people passed and 3 failed. She also forwarded a list of names and my name was on it.
Interesting, quite a high failure rate of 3%++

Women marrying Thai husband do not require signing by HMK, only interior minister. Let's hope everyone waiting is on track ????

I did my MOI interview in September last year. I have seen different estimates/reports, but what is the current best guess for MOI to oath at the moment?
Had MOI interview in July 2020 and oath in April, just before the new virus wave put the brakes again on everything. You should be on oath schedule again once the reopening progresses. Patience, patience.

I was led to believe that as Naturalized Thais, we can't get assistance from our former embassies, US included.
How will the respective embassy know?

Well-informed source says authorities did not yet submit list of applicants MOI-interviewed since July 2020 to palace for signing.

You advertised the car in the OP as reliable and in perfect working condition. Hmmm.
Yes because due to the repairs the buyer got a great car with many newer parts.

Honda crvs are unbelievably reliable . Best car we have ever owned (my wifes) also not true about the sensor , had the same issue with another car I had and they certainly went off ????
Not sure about the reliability, had quite a few repairs. Reason why no more Honda for me.

Yes but the buyer who read the ad on Facebook Marketplace where I had a different price wasn't aware of this one, sorry to rain on your party 555555555 ????
I knew from the beginning it was stupid to post the sale in here, but hey I got what I deserve - ridicule from oh-so-wise forum members. Lesson learned, but am a happy seller now.

You won,t sell a second hand car with only a 200,000 baht discount from new sorry
That's what I exactly did yesterday. Sold, for exactly this discount.
Sometimes one just has to be patient and willing buyer finds willing seller.

We turned up at 9.45 to allow for review of documents and I had a Santa's Sack of every document and bit of paper ever issued to me ... no-one asked to see anything, not even passport or wife's ID to verify we were who we said we were.
Has anyone had their docs - such as work permit - checked at the oath ceremony?

PTT and Bangchak premium is desired for euro 5 emissions vehicles. Last time I checked, anyway.
I use PTT premium in my crv. I occasionally use b7 but only If I cant get premium. Fuel economy is lowet on B7. Not greatly so, but noticeable. I rather not have my dpf clog up or otherwise have problems.
You mean Shell V-Power is of lesser quality?

My advice it to do whatever you want.
Just because someone comments on how stupid biodiesel is it does not follow that they advocate selling your car and boycotting diesel.
Of course the cure seems worse than the disease. This thread solely tries to find out what's better for car engines and performance.
Did you have Covid? If so, how was it?

Sounds like a silly question, but we hear so many contradicting reports. Most infections seem mild, most deaths are contributed to existing health issues.
If anyone was infected, can you describe the experience?
How you got treated?
How bad was it?
If you were aware where you got infected by whom?
What lessons learned, if any?
