I have to ask, because I hate tatoos. OP If you have strong opinions about them, why get into a meaningful relationship with a tattooed lady?
-
So yesterday, I tell her the red leaders have told their people not to wear red. She is as I type, watching the events on tv. "Oh now they change shirts" she says. I reply in an exasperated tone. "I told you that yesterday!". Her response, "OK I no talk with you."

Which genius was PM when Thaksin was allowed to leave Thailand?
-
I don't think that Thaksin has much to do with this anymore things have evolved passed him.
If the reds denounced him and removed all his images and paraphernalia from the red areas and stopped quoting his ramblings daily on stage....
and THEN perhaps that nonsense about reds "evolving" might actually have a few people believing there might be a grain of truth to it beginning to foment.
Can't have that can we? They would be left talking to themselves as the farmers went back home.
-
Re Reds changing to multi coloured shirts. Does that mean we have false multicoloureds to blame for fighting now?
-
A disappointing but unsurprising response from the biggest stubborn mule PM the world has ever seen.
Nope, that would be the other guy, Thaksin.
I find it amazing that people blame the current government for the actions of Thaksin's rent-a-mob ... and don't just plae the blame where it belongs! Right at the feet of a convicted felon that is fomenting civil unrest in Thailand while he and his family hide overseas.
Part of a famous quote, and this is what is happening to the mules they've bussed in to Bangkok from the N.East.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."

Our Killer PM is preparing a new mass killing of innocent people...who is the terrorist now???
Jeez, where have you been hiding all these years?
-
These red shirts that are in the negotiations. Are they the same red shirts who face terrorism charges etc.. etc..?
-
Doesn't there have to be a cessation of hostilities before a UN peace keeping force can be deployed?
-
All we know is that the government has denied independent investigations into the April 10 clashes. And they will probably deny independent investigations into today's attacks as well. So make up your own conclusions, folks.
My conclusion is you are a red true believer and wouldn't care if the reds bombed 50 stations and there was hard core proof it it.
Google Che Guevara.

You remember that time those idiots with the yellow shirts closed the airport for 2 weeks..and then the army didn't crack down on them even though their action directly endangered lives and craeted a national security issue?I seems as if EVERY thread about current events gets hijacked back to the yellow airport incident. I think this should be a mod issue. ONE thread to talk about that. It shouldn't be acceptable for this done to the death aspect of it to dominate EVERY other topic, especially now, that Thailand is possibly on the verge of civil war.
I do have a proposal about this. I suggest people in future ignore all references to the airport incident. We all know about it ALREADY. We all know the red rationale about that, that they claim they are now excused of ALL crimes because of that past. Nothing new. Why ever reply to this gambit?
So that was 2 weeks and this has been going on for how long?

Winston also said "Democracy is the worst form of government, except where all others have been tried."

Can someone contact the Darwin Awards. There could be a few entries quite soon.

By coincidence yesterday. Discovery Channel showed the Capt Eric Moody BA009 incident, plus a couple of othe volcano episodes.

Sprinklers at every track just in case.

So reading in the Live update that the red leaders have asked for "Royal intervention". Well what if that Royal intervention was to tell the reds to go home?

A question to the expats. Re the Nai telling the Phrai how to vote, which I've never seen in our Moo Ban. What I do see is my SIL telling my wife how to vote. My response to my wife is vote what is in your head and not your heart.
So have anyothers come across this and how do you handle it.
-
As for the constitution referendum, if my wife is anything to go by. The booklet went unread, her excuse was I'm too busy. That's too busy watching tv and playing cards.

If kids were in the front line with their parents at the Yellow demonstration then they were wrong too, if they knew a confrontation was possible. However the violence has started with 20+ dead and 800+ hurt. (I'd be interested to know which way the dead were facing at the time of death if shot from behind.)
-
Looking at the pictures posted recently, some of the pics dated 16th. I can't believe some of the idiots still have their babies at this demonstration. Is it they're idiots or don't care? When the military goes in will the brave red leaders have these people as their "shock" troops? ie these are the ones that wil be used to shock the western media.

I never rated Massa as a wet weather driver, but I think he has lost his confidence. Also If things don't turn around for Schmi, I think he'll retire permanently at the end of the season. or follow their kid and DC into that race car series.
-
I hope they don't spoil things like they have done in the past over the pit issue with Hamilton. They should, as Gary Anderson said, sort it out during the race. I think we'll see fire works in the Ferrari team as well. Massa must have been less than impressed with Alonso's pit tactics.

news report I heard said last time the same volcano erupted it went on for 18 months.
There is a bigger volcano close by, which historically has been jump started into erupting by the volcano erupting now.

Agree, I once asked my wife why Thais hate the burmese. She just said the attack my country. A long time to bear a grudge.
