The one you need to worry about is under Yellowstone park. Current status highly active. Last time it went, it covered most of N. America in over 6" of ash. The one in Iceland, a mere incovenience.

There should be apoll on the topics outcome.
2 choices.
1 Do you think they will surrender?
2 Do you believe in faries?

It's all about post counts.

Slater strikes again. How the heck do you drive flat out to Paris from the South of England. Than the "Button is driving slowly, must be looking for a gap.' He then follows it a few seconds later with Button gets through in whatever it was.

I'd be intersted in replies. Usually here they are collecting for Bangkok. Why don't they collect in their home province? Never had a minimum donation request though, simon.
-
I don't think the people of Bangkok are prepared to give them another month, never mind the army.
-
Shouldn't this topic have been called an embarssing fiasco for the police?
Yes much more apropos. But this was the newspaper title I think.
I also think this fiasco is what the army chiefs were waiting for.

I've seen Smiths and Tetley bitter on sale in bars in BKK along with Guinness. Just ask them not to open the can maybe?

I wonder if she still watches Eastenders?

Anyone else exclaim out loud upon viewing that?

I feel your pain.
Monday my wife went into Ranong to pay bills. We try to do it in one trip as it takes 40 minutes just to drive in. Truevisions, and the computer is down., and they tell my wife to come back on the 16th. Well don't cut of the signal she tells them. They promised we would be ok. 13th turn on the tv, tune to chanel 93 and no signal. So today we went and Soha goes in all guns blazing. Different young lady but the same guy. Guns blazing didn't make any difference, and paid the reconnection fee. Then the cheeky bitch says pay on time next month. As we walked to the car Sopha is muttering UBC mai dee. No argument from me on that one, even if she does use the old name.

I'm just praying True Visions office is open in Ranong tomorow. My wife went to pay the bill on Monday, and the computer is off line. Promises made not to cut the signal come back on the 16th. Well on the 13th the <deleted> cut the signal. Calls to Bangkok very unhelpful Good job I have a good DVD collection, missing the BBC news, even if there is too much American emphasis. Still I don't pay a TV license Hoping for a good race, weather forecast?

Strange but her majesties forces went in to protect the catholics (small c intended.) The last coup had the right idea, teach people about democracy. They just got the time scale wrong. I've said it before but I'll say it again.
1 People selling their vote should lose their right to vote for life.
2 People buying votes should not be allowed to stand for office of any kind.
Shit how hard can it be?

Comonsense approach from the start. He talked to the children in English and she in Thai. He's been lazy and left the kids to his wife.

Yes, these thugs are demanding that Abhisit leave Thailand with the obvious veiled threat of what will happen to him if he doesn't. The reds have ALREADY tried to assassinate Abhisit a number of times in the past. Get real. The red leaders are total thugs. And yet all these Europeans think they are OK. It's sickening.
Reds are this, reds are that... Blah blah.
Wanna know what's sickening? Those who continue to blindly support a Prime Minister with blood on his hands. << That's sickening.
Thaksin is an ex-prime minister.
Fair enough.
But he's no longer in power now is he? No matter the outcome, I can't see Thaksin returning as PM.
No, but from those days he does have blood on his hands. i.e. the war on drugs.

Works the other way. Not all the yellows turned up last year. I know I live with one.
-
Well someone should try to point out to them a world wide problem The top 20% have 80% of the wealth everywhere on the planet, and that will never ever change. So they had better get used to it.
-
It doesn't matter if the reds win, if they do, the other side kicks off. My wife is really blood thirsty just now. Turns on the box and says, I want to know if army kill all the red shirts yet. I make comments about the situation, but opinions are kept to myself. At least a coup might give the reds and yellows something to hate other than each other.

yestarday at 21:10 "Prachatai reporter from Kok Wua intersection reported that two foreign tourists were injured by soldiers. One was shot at the chest after having shouted 'fuc_k You!' to the soldiers. They have been sent to hospital." http://www.prachatai.org/english/node/1726
Worthy of a Darwin Awards Entry for sure.

OP the South covers quite an area. The Muslim seperatists are in the Deep South, it'srather quiet around here. It could do with some Thaksinistas to liven things up.
-
Shock horror. 43 countries issue travel warnings, and they are surprised at events.

Interesting thought....but would add how long did it take in democratic country like the UK to give Scotland to get its own parliment..??....hundreds of years
...and we're still stuck with a jerk as pm who has strange accent.
