My wife is one of those people who tell you to take the next turning when you are doing 60kph, and you are almost on top of the said turning. That's why I got a GPS.

Who exactly is going to pay this tax. Your average Chai looks upon paying tax as a serious loss of face.

Polce etc have told people not directly involved to stay away/leave. What are you smoking?

I bet it would be a different matter if it had been McLaren.

Oh my why doesn't Issan just succeed from Thailand and end all of our misery. The country of Issan. Oh they can not support themselves that is why they ship off the little girls to be what they are. An agraian society that is becoming more scarce of water but like the people of Ethiopia instead of moving out of the desert they stay and starve. Ok not really but an over point. The weatlthy of Issan are not staying in the country side but becomging the Bad business man which are detested. make up your minds people. If Issan was a country who do you then take money from?
This is fun
I've a better idea. Give it to Laos.

The army (IMHO) lost face today. That and the border guards will be reporting gales of laughter coming across the various borders.

I recall a quote from a BBC programme about China recently, by a Chinese government official. "You can do what you like with a pheasant, because no one cares about them" The there is the line from The Who song, "Won't get fooled again." Look at the new boss, same as the old boss"

There are more than 2 sides here.
Whilst there is a stand off between the reds and government, it is only a matter of time before enough people get upset at this that a third group emerges with an eye on resolving the impasse.
What colour shirts are coming next???
Green with purple polka dots would be interesting.
Well part of their clothing is greenish. They also have a lot of guns.

Just checked his profile, last seen just before Christmas.

Are there any children among the crowds? If so the warning should now be given they are putting their offspring in the way of potential danger.

Today Gordon Brown PM of UK announced he is disolving Parliment and will hold an election on May 6, 2010 ( 1 Month from today).
Wouldn't it be a nice gesture in Abhisit demonstrated that he can run his government as good as Gordon Brown and disolve Parliment and schedule an election onf the same day as the UK. Surely he must concede if the UK can do it so then can Thailand. Both he an Gordon Brown were educated in the UK.

The article does come across as biased, not unusual for the Nation, but may be expressing the feelings of many BKKians. However, this statement
a fiery orator on the red-shirt stage, denouncing the existence of the monarchy
if accurate, is a grave mistake. IMO very few of the protesters other than the leaders, would hold any similar views, and may well not want to be associated with them. What is the alternative they proposing? President for life Thaksin?
Now that is what I call a shot in the foot moment if true.

Oh boy. Last year driving down to NST Inside the cab 5 Thais, and me. Non stop chatter, all talking at once. I kept turning the volume up on the cd player.

We get a lot of kittens dumped on us. Our Alpha female fortunately is a brilliant foster mum. The other cats all look at her as though she's lost the plot, but eventually come round. Population control is done by snakes, cobra country.

OK as tomorrow is Shakri day, is a fair assumption that any government action will wait until Wednesday?
-
Most Thais in the sticks will only go through the family celebration involve the monks, but the registration is not done. Now how to prove she's telling the truth?

Good topic over at PlanetF1 and the ESPN geniuses certainly missed it. On the podiun the got the flags for Webber and Risberg arse about.

The reds I think are trying for a response, they are getting desperate. They can't seriously believe they will still be in BKK on the 20th.

I suppose it's how you interpret what was going on, and I am a Lewis/McLaren fan. May be the cars should have an oil slick button like that Aston Martin in the old 007 films.

They are allowed to jink/swerve once in the manoeuvre. He should have had a drive through.
-
Well as they have just torn up their orders to move, and thrown them on the ground. Lock them all up for littering.
-
It's called disrespect. They are saying you are nothing. I used to get it all the time even from Thai family, my wife now tells them to wait while we finish.

2 of my wifw's nieces have had to get married young. The Thai solution seems to be to go and "lean" on the boys family.
Do You Favor A "neutral" Military Coup Government Now To Stabilize The Country?

Anyone else see the irony?
As for who should run the country. Until the Thais can understand democracy means not buying, and selling votes. A military coup may be the only option.
