Have you ever considered what is in the items you are purchasing, I mean most frozen items are loaded with sugar, salt and other harmful stuff that clog your arteries if eaten over a prolonged period of time and you could end up with a heart attack or a stroke.

The above said, not to mention the fat content which would add to your weight and send you into the direction of becoming a pre-diabetic or diabetic if your not already one, depending on your age and weight.

I am talking through experience, and will give you this advice, whether you take it or not, eat clean, avoid the stuff your eating, switch to eggs, tuna, whole grain pastas, basmati rice, oatmeal, do a bit of research on the web, lots of video's, your body is your temple and you are poisoning it.

Because it tastes good, doesn't mean it is good, don't get me wrong, I love foods that taste nice, but also know they are bad for you if they are from the frozen section, suffice to say, clean food can taste nice too, know what goes into your mouth and your body, because you will only have yourself to blame in years to come when you end up with one of the above diseases which spreads far and wide in the world because we have slowly been poisoned.

Oh and don't forget to exercise because you need to get that blood flowing through those arteries, I know, I know, boring, but it's either a healthier longer life or a shorter one with many problems along the way.

Make the change for your "life", it's the only one you got, and you want to get as many years out of it.

Here come the food police. I hope you posted on the other thread as well about the alcohol ban.

Apparently not - and certainly not in "mid December." According to the Taiwanese Health Minister they sent an email to the WHO on December 31. However the wording of the email certainly doesn't sound like a warning to me.

So the email (based on what the Health Minister read out) appears to be asking for information, not giving it. Now, the minister did later claim that the reference to cases being isolated constitutes a warning but the WHO contests that - and I have to say I don't see it either.

So where is the transparancey from the CCP and where are the missing doctors and research scientists? I think Taiwan knew about on Dec the 15th by monitoring the social media inside China. Anyway if i am wrong aplogies. Officially its the 31st of Dec.

Free food being dished out all over the place, but why is it volunteers putting their time and money up, when the government who should be taking the lead are nowhere to be seen?

When do Governments do anything for the people, Ever? You would think there are enough army personnel sitting around doing nothing and they have enough trucks to distribute food throughout the country.

Worked before indeed...the examples abound, from Weimar Germany to today's Venezuela...

If printing money could replace a working economy, why should we even bother to go to work?

And if we could pile on debt infinitely without consequences, why not have the state employ everybody at 25,000 dollar per month?

Our generation is not the first to try to defy the basic laws of economics, yet contrary to what we may think, we are not smarter than our predecessors, but probably far more full of ourselves because, you know, we have smartphones and the internet, so we are all knowledgeable beings (at least in porn)...

Well said and spot on. Just one more thing to add. Piling on debt and deficit spending transfers the wealth of the middle class to the ones on the inside.

I am not as worried about rabid rabbits.

Over the years, I have come to recognize this "soft-heartedness" towards soi dogs as a form of narcissism and selfishness.

Playing Mother Teresa by providing cheap food to dogs is all very well, but the same dog you think is a lovely, friendly fellow could turn into an absolute terror when it comes across a child, or could end up causing a serious accident by chasing cyclists or darting into traffic.

There are already enough dumb and selfish Thais topping up their karma by feeding dogs. The last thing a country with active rabies needs is a load of unhinged farangs serving up even more cheap, nutrition-free carb slop.

By the way, any dog that survives its first week on the streets after abandonment has proved that it has a side that is far from sweet. Over half of them get ripped to shreds by the packs of dogs that already own that territory. To survive, these family pets have to get tough, and damn quick.

The whole situation is a nightmare that anyone who actually cares about animals should be appalled by, and not use it as a way to have pets without the costs or responsibilities.

    Good post.

A month ago I would have said complete financial armageddon is almost guaranteed. Now I consider that was a mistake. Why? Because the FED and all central banks will not allow it to happen. They will keep providing stimulus for as long and as much as it takes to maintain liquidity and normality across markets. It's only national debt! I'm hoping for a 30-50% pullback from here but not expecting to see it materialize.

What about all the US$ residing outside of the USA? When countries start to realise that their holdings in US$ are worth nothing and have been devalued into worthless paper then all them USD's will start flooding back into the US to buy assets and goods that have some value left. Inflation.

It's unlikely because all the countries are in the same sinking boat.

If it were just one country with the problem, that country would be in deep trouble.

All these doom-sayers have never managed to predict anything in the past, why would one of them be right now?

Sorry to say you are wrong. The problem is the US and the US$ and this has knock on effects to every currency.
