    Why do they announce these plans, is it to give them a chance to leave the country, or find a patsy.

    Dob in a farang would they have done the same if it were a thai. Do we know why it was padlocked. Did it gave any indication it was put on by the cops, and ticket issued. All questions a reasonable journalist would ask.

    From the article, seems more of an infrastructure problem... the economy of Pattaya and Phuket are based on tourism. Perhaps the government needs to promote other places eg Hua Hin, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Krabi, even places away from the ciast give tourist an incentive.
