Why wouldn't they outsource the app to someone with a track record like airline or hotels who have the talents and IT knowledge to deploy a working app with online support for Immigration or Consulates.

If the current situation we see daily
with annoucements only to be reversed or canned the following day are any indication.
How can anyone one have certainty going forward.
The last few years have been wasted oppitunity to change and remake a lot of outdated policies and systems.
This will not bode well for Thailand going forward.

Great News.
I hope more can have access to open up the vaccines so we can increase the rollout.
Making us safer, so we can get the many business open and the Country back on it's feet.

They couldn't come up with something original so just a cut and paste plant palm trees.
Fast becoming a concrete version of Bangkok with sh_ty beach and water.
Another oppitunity lost to make it truly amazing and different.

An interesting article from ABC (AUS) .
While vaccines are important there are good research going on around the World.
Stay Well

Vaccinations available for Australian nationals in Thailand
The Thai Government is offering Australians the opportunity to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca at 1pm this Sunday 18 July at SCG Headquarters in Bang Sue (Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/dFRM8oycooZTtQJW8). Please note – this is SCG Headquarters in Bang Sue, not the Bang Sue train station.

There does not seem to be an easy answer.
Fiji has taken no lockdown approach instead trying to vaccinate the population.
Read here.

It would be good to see it happen but no reason why it should. People came here of their own free will so why should their governments carry the burden.
As stated before by others, many Governments around the world provide aid and assitance in times of an Emergency.
Its not a burden its what Governments and their people do to help others in their time on need.

Thanks Changbeer4me
She went to Beach Road today and got registered (handed in copy of ID and tabien baan (although from Korat)) so they told her. But she has no confirmation of whatever kind, no paper, no QR code. She says nobody did receive anything after registering. They referred to a Pattaya Prom application (?) We'll see. If Moderna will eventually become available - even with a fonds perdu pre-paid - I will register all three of us (incl. stepdaugther) for it. So my wife would then get a Moderna second shot if this is compatible - which we will check.
Good luck for you and your missus.
Good to hear moogradod.
Have you seen this post might be of inetrest. ?
Good Luck, Best Wishes

My mistake. Wife just said that her driving license shows only what is on the ID-card - which is the Korat adress.
Now it is getting really desperate. I hope at least my Thai wife can register somewhere where she lives (in Pattaya - with me) let alone getting a shot which might not be very effective with the Delta and Delta+ variants lurking. I hear that millions have been vaccinated already, even foreigners with pink ID cards. Where in Pattaya can at least my wife apply ??? I have already familiarized myself to wait until a private hospital gives me a shot for what I would gladly pay. When I will survive until then.
Moogradod
Send your Mrs or take her down to Beach Rd.
I did same on the Darkside weeks ago lady took ID and got registered, but no other details since.
She got a slip paper with QR Code
Hope you can get the Mrs done
and more vacvines roll out for all that want or need it.

They had the pull down menus fixed early this morning but apparently when you enter your information, it does not get saved properly since if you go back in to check, the fields are blank. The site is now shut down as of 9:30am, and due to open again at Noon, so MAYBE they will have it fixed by then.
Same for me .
Had hoped for a few dates in Chonburi at least.
With all the positive announcements and fan fair it only add salt to the wound.
How much spin was put out day after day saying more than enough vaccines ready to go.
Seems Bangkok the main show after Sandbox Show.
Wish they would be open with the situation.
Strap in and hang on the name of the game.
Stay Well and hope the new week
is a more professional effort.
This week was a big F from me.
