They had the pull down menus fixed early this morning but apparently when you enter your information, it does not get saved properly since if you go back in to check, the fields are blank.  The site is now shut down as of 9:30am, and due to open again at Noon, so MAYBE they will have it fixed by then.

I got the same as you.

There were only 3 hospitals listed

    But calander blank out.

Now the front page has changed again, but list hospitals ( Bangkok Only)   see screen shots.

I'm in Chonburi so no good for me.

    Wish others best of luck.

    +1

Politicians are fearful of public reaction and nto being guided by the science.

And the public for some reason is more afraid of a 1 in a million or 1 in a half million vaccine side effect than it is of far greater risks associated with the virus. If that same thinking applied to other spe=heres of life nobody would get out of bed in the morning (let alone drive in a car!).

It is not unreasonable, if the option exists (i.e. alternative vaccines are  available) to limit AZ use to people over 30 as UK has done. Perhaps even over 40, at least for women. But the response on the continent is way over the top and reflects the feeling that nothing less than 0 risk is acceptable to the public with a vaccine.

There is no drug in the world that meets that criteria, and appropriate (science based) decision making examines the risk vs benefit of alternative choices, understanding that none of them represent zero risk.

Got a young relative about to start Uni in Bangkok.  Has to go look for domitiory.

    Suggested he try get vaccinated.

    1. His scared of side effects.

    2. He says because now in Udon Thani  If you are going to get vaccinated, you must go down to Buriram Province. Scared to travel.

It's going to be a hard sell to convince a lot people to get vaccinated.

  3. Good timing but the somtam guy hope he made it home .  Its pissing down again right now.

Yeah good to have a spicy meal to blow the ear wax out.   Girl just walked out to cook Pad Kapow Ghai... started to <deleted> down has moved inside the room

This going to be eye watering....

But love the smell and the taste.

Nothing like a great spicy dish on days like this.

    And cooler tempreature another blessing.

    Stay Safe.

Save the Blair's Mega Death sauce for better days ahead.

Didn't there used to be a departure tax? I remember going to a machine and paying 500 bt for a ticket that had to be shown,,,at check in or passport control...don't remember which.

Yeah It was put into ticket prices

so they already getting 500 and now

want more as price not been settled

    on yet.

It was a pain to remember to have the 500 baht set aside.   Many got caught out.

Strange the media did not report that part of story.

    Thanks.

As for the cost, I did it steadily over a few months so don’t remember exactly and am not in LOS right now so don’t have access to the receipts, but:

    Concrete - 1.5 cube - 2600 baht
    Floor Tiles - 13 m3 @ 154 - 2000 baht
Sand/cement, tile adhesive, grout etc - 800 baht
    Aluminium edging 8 x 2m - 1500 baht
    Roof tiles - 4000 baht
Steel probably around - 5000/6000 baht
Sundries, conwood fascia, screws and steel for roof tiles, labour for welding and roof fitting, paint and primer. - 4000 baht

All these figures are rough, so probably 20/25k.

It was something I wanted to do myself, irrespective of the cost, and I was disappointed when my welding prowess was lacking and had to call someone in but it was needed. His experience of the steel structure needed to support the roof was invaluable also.

Originally I was going to fit a brown corrugated steel sheet roof ( with silver insulation ) but later decided to go with the same roof tiles as the house and am pleased with the results.

I have another 80 m3 of the same floor tiles to fit round the house but am going to pay someone !
The sala was easy enough as I made it 7 x 7 tiles and half a tile round the outside but I’m not up to the job of the garage area and walkways around the house..... no way !!

    Thanks for the cost Andrew.

You were right to call in someone with a better skill set for the job.

But for somethings yiu have to bite the bullet, nothing worst than outlaying money and end up with a ball up , shitty job.

There is a certain satisfaction of doing projects yourself.

Great results so far Andrew , good luck with the rest you'll have many years of enjoyment I'm sure.

    Regards

I’ve just built my own ( except for the welding and the roof tiles ).
Just need to fit a ceiling fan, paint the cement on roof and fit some shade arrangement for the backside.

A very self satisfying project if you feel up to it, you can design it to fit your needs.

    Thanks Andrew,

Pokey, impractical, uncomfortable collectors of dust, garbage, cobwebs and birdshit.

    ...and the gardeners lunch leftovers.

On the other hand, these ones are much more practical IMHO. And cheaper too.
