  1. The latest i have of germany NOT accepting is is 13 july. Do you have some link im curious https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/news/germany-permits-entry-for-travellers-jabbed-with-5-covid-19-vaccines-including-covishield/ I would have thought Europe would be more uniform in its rules but it does not look that way.
  2. Not so sure because if you read the WHO documents Thailand has not applied. So has nothing to with political views but with not doing their homework. Its all about paperwork and inspections. https://extranet.who.int/pqweb/sites/default/files/documents/Status_COVID_VAX_19August2021.pdf
  3. What is strange is that the EU does accept shinovax and shinopharm and many others but not the Thai Astra. Probably because it has not been approved by the WHO, I guess they don't want them to inspect their factory or think its too much of a hassle. However this means problems for everyone who has been vaccinated with a Thai Astra.. its also been exported to other countries. Bit stupid IMHO to not let the WHO approve your vaccine.
  4. I doubt they will stop you as there are usually no border checks. But i don't know in covid times.
  5. Just for the record there is also quarantine requirements even if vaccinated. But for Dutch it can be home stay. But that would be troublesome if you have no home in the Netherlands. So @Will B Good I doubt the Netherlands is a solution for your problem https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/visiting-the-netherlands-from-abroad/self-quarantine/mandatory-quarantine
  6. Your right thanks, i looked it up on the Dutch government site but seems Thai Astra is not on the list (Unless its the SK Bio Astra Zeneca EU (Vaxzevria) ; Astra Zeneca - Japan (Vaxzevria); Astra Zeneca - Australia (Vaxzevria); Astra Zeneca-SK Bio (Vaxzevria); Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine - United States of America; Pfizer/BioNTech (Comirnaty); Johnson & Johnson ((COVID-19 Vaccine) Janssen); Moderna (Spikevax); Serum Institute of India (Covishield); Sinopharm BIBP; Sinovac.
  7. I can still go to the Netherlands if not vaccinated I just have to be in quarantine. But they do accept Thai vaccines. Just not Shinovax and maybe Thai produced astra. But the Pfizer shot i got is acceptable so it depends a bit on what your vaccinated with.
  8. The GPO opposed this deal and is now trying to expose the bad quality of the tests. They did not want this test at all and now are trying to prove they were right. So they did not decide to buy this test but were opposed.
  9. I agree a lot of fun has been taken away. I can still entertain myself but would love to see things go back to normal.
  10. I am not that is a fact. I use netflix but download other stuff too. So as I said im not without sins. But i find cloning a keycard goes a bit further then that. A guard might notice the card looks different and causes trouble. With downloading you can protect yourself with a VPN but with your cloned card it might catch attention. But like i said not judging you just saying what i would do. But everyone puts their following of rules and regulations at a different level. I don't mind breaking the law if I don't hurt others and the chance of getting caught is low ???? (talking about small stuff )
  11. One of my friends did this so i remember it this was in Thailand. So it is possible. I mean your paying for 2 it might even speed things up. But not sure about that. But it does mean if setup good you never lose internet (unless half a city block goes up in flames destroying infrastructure of both providers)
  12. Dethatched and the neighbors i hardly see them they are Swedish we help each other at times. Like i said anything i want gets adressed by the owner so far really good. I tell them what is broken next day they fix it. (i dont pay) This owner has multiple houses and her own service staff.
  13. But you dont OWN the keycard. You are using their keycard and will be refunded a 500bt fee. As long as you havent checked out it stays their property. Different from a DVD you own and copy. And for the other part, no idea it might happen.
  14. If you do look into a load balancing router.. then you can connect 2 internet providers and if one fails the other kicks in. Not sure about prices and you do have to know how to set it up.
  15. Hmmm personally i would not do that as it opens a can of worms legally. But hell not everyone thinks the same. I break laws at times too.
  16. Sure its reliable i had it in nothaburi and BKK and both times it was great. I have 340GB on dropbox 1 million files. The first time the computer took over a day to upload (many small files go slower then a few big ones). However now it just mutates the changes and it works perfect. I think if you have to upload 8tb new (not just changes) all the time then your computer takes each time 2 days or more. Also 3bb might start to complain about fair use.
  17. Yes it would be and normally you would get it back its an incentive to turn in the card. Otherwise security gets compromised.
  18. GF her company is paying for this normally i would not stay here far too expensive. But there is 24/7 security and maintenance is all done included in the rent. Its like two houses 4 stories on a single plot of land with a guard on duty 24/7 and when something breaks the owner sends people to fix it. It also has a pool that is shared between us and the neighbors. Can't complain but I would not pay for it if i had to pay it myself.
  19. No you paid a deposit. Your assuming your not getting it back. Works that way all over the world. Now if you don't get your deposit back then you claim it as yours.
  20. I guess you did not read correctly. He was DEPORTING illegal immigrants and while in Cambodia he bought cigarettes. So he was on official duty doing his job. So that makes the smuggling a worse offence as he used an official vehicle for it. There was no smuggling of people going on.
  21. How so the guy was fired... how is he going to receive bribes. It sometimes pays to read the article.
  22. That will take forever. I have uploaded with speeds of 70MB/s with 3bb even more at times. But it also depends on the speed of the overseas server. I mean if one is fast the other is slow the slow one will be the limiting factor. But with the 70MB/s it would take you 4 hours to upload 1TB in optimal conditions so a connection like the one I have (3bb can be better or worse depending on location) and the receiving server needs a fast internet connection to match.
  23. I definately see differences international between the 1000/300 and 1000/1000. I download big files from newsgroups and get often 65mb/s so far higher then what the OP is complaining about. But the problem could also be pulse TV if their servers are not fast enough then your own connection does not matter. They can easily put the blame at 3bb to not feel responsible. Like someone suggested the OP needs to find a good speedtest site so he can check.
  24. Living in a house in BKK now in Thonglor, quiet street almost no noise. We don't have several acres of ground. Location is key, not everywhere in BKK its loud.
  25. So if you get keys to a condo they are yours ? I would say a keycard like keys will not become your property and will have to be returned. About the 500bt no idea.
