    An international driving license is accepted as long as it is valid, but a foreign license is not accepted in Thailand. If you have non-immigrant visa, or work permit, you should obtain a Thai Driver's License. Photocopy your valid international driving license, get residency certificate and go to your local Department of Land Transport. Easy way to get Thai Driver's License GoodLuck

    To Register at Department of Land Transport; 1. Passport (copies, non-immigrant visa, work permit) 2. Residence certificate or Yellow book 3. ALL documents about new car from the car-dealer, photocopies too 3a. private sellers: Vehicle ownership booklet (car Blue book), foreigners>Passport copy and signature(blue ink), thais>National ID copy and signature(blue ink) Thai official Love photo copies. You can own a car without Thai driving license. Smart move to register in Your Own Name. Wish You All The Best!
