Original entry on this visa was Jan 2019.

Expiry was due 28 Oct 2020 (due to doing a run last year to avoid the compulsory insurance cut off.)

No covid extensions previously sought, as none were required.

Clarification. "Pensioners", not just aged pensioners.

If a 'tourist' has to show proof of long term accommodation, then said same tourist should be then able to get a Certificate of Residence from Immigration, for drivers license, tax residency etc.
