Thank you, my thought exactly, as I have experienced this in a hotel in Chiang Mai. Fortunately I am still around to tell the tale. The shower unit itself had "non slip" tiles laid, whereas outside in the room, there were those dangerous shiny floor tiles. With wet feet, I did a "Torvill & Dean" across the floor and fortunately was able to grab a table to break my fall!

Sadly, this will never happen. Mitr Phol has too much clout in Bangkok! Mitr Phol is ranked as the world's fifth largest sugar producer,[2] and the largest producer in Asia. It is Thailand's largest sugar producer and the second largest in China through its joint venture company East Asia Sugar. In addition to Thailand and China, Mitr Phol has operations and investments in Lao PDR, Cambodia, and most recently Australia (Wikipedia) -

Rejected at PoiPet border
Burma Bill replied to Kardashev's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thank you again for your comments - greatly appreciated and it appears we both experienced similar holdups at both border immigration offices. The 4 hour wait (Thai-side) was horrendous (pre-pandemic) when I joined the queue downstairs at the foot of the escalator! It was a hot day and there was nowhere one could buy chilled drinking water. I now avoid this crossing and fly from Siem Reap. -

Thank you for your observations. Was this at Thai or Cambodian Immigration? From personal experience, this was often the case at Cambodian (Poipet) Immigration. The main problem was people who entered Cambodia on an E-visa and either did not have, or mislaid, a copy to return to Immigration on exiting. For reference (Cambodian Immigration):- In around 3 days you will receive your visa for Cambodia by email. You then simply need to print two copies of this document for your outgoing and return travel. At Thai Immigration (Aranyaphratet), I always experienced long delays just queueing - 1 hour the shortest, 4 hours the longest. -
Yes indeed, well some of it when sewage removed! (Google):- Some seaweed polysaccharides are used by food industry as texture modifiers because of their high viscosity and gelling properties. In Asia seaweeds have been used for centuries in salads, soups and as low calorie dietetic foods.

Thai Tea Named 7th Best Non-alcoholic Drink In The World by TasteAtlas
Burma Bill replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes indeed, from my experience when living in Thailand. I like iced tea but as a type 2 insulin dependent diabetic, I always had difficulty in finding "sugar free" varieties. -
With respect, a reference I discovered on Google:- "We have traveled we know the world and have friends from other countries thus our minds are more open. Islam like many religions is outdated in many of its traditions. We don't really think god will punish us for having a beer or more with friends" https://www.quora.com/Why-do-Saudi-and-Qatari-people-drink-alcohol-in-western-countries I shall not enter into any discussions about religious beliefs. My sole intention was to post the above reference. Thank you.
