  5. My mate had one, open the bonnet and kick start if you needed reverse. I actually towed him home once with my Honda 90 I remember him turning it over on a sharp bend with 3 of us inside, we all got and just pushed it back onto its wheels. My favorite 3 wheeler was the Barclay 2 wheels at the front.
  6. A 100m high jeeze is it a condo? that would be like 25 floors high.
  7. Make sure free access is written into all contracts. My (swiss) friend just up the road from me only yesterday came to me, to tell me the Thai owner of the house past his was demanding 30k to be paid NOW for access to the dirt road, he can speak thai quite well, but her reginal dialect he couldn't understand, so he got my wife to go up there to translate, she was saying if he don't pay today then it goes up to 40k, He went to the Poo Yai Ban, who looked at his contract, and said its a government road 555, this woman is a gambler, and also just goes onto his 1 ria land and steals fruit, he takes his electric from her supply, he paid half of the instillation to her place (its a very difficult access as it means crossing a river and the 'Main' road is 1k+ away) he has his own meter and she is charging him 20b a unit! what a Bitch. His next plan now is to put a fence up. Why not open for public use? maybe one day the government can declare it a government road and lay concrete as they did to my road.
  8. At least they won't all get drunk. The Thai Muslims in general are very hard workers, they don't sit around all day drinking, gambling, or having shoot outs. There are fanatics in all religions, not just Muslims.
  9. And John denver’s Take Me Home country road 🤣🤣🤣 Oh and I forgot the Cranberries song Zombie, and when sang by a Thai sounds like Someday, And another favorite of mine is Proud Mary by Tina Turner, comes out as 🎶....Lolling lolling, .. lolling on a Liver..
  10. Start Water bombing their houses, buy helicopters not fighter jets or subs, take the water cannons up there and aim them at the farmers houses. Of course the main problem is the small farmers who can't afford any other method.
  11. IMO This is why Thais are crap at English, most countries around the world listened to songs sang in English, but not Thailand 'cept the ole hotel California.
  12. Her Parents have come Oh never mind read the full story yourself.
  13. If you have a one year visa/extension I would open a Mee Tae Dee savings account for that 0.9% up to 2mb after tax (taken at source) interest. you can add to it at anytime, and they can issue statements even for one year in 20min.
  14. Has been that way forever, as said you need to show them that you know the way. I enjoy doing it and it's normally the last doc. they require while they process all my other docs, I draw rivers, bridges, even trees just for a laugh, might take some colored pens next time
  15. Oh no what would we do without the clown steering the ship onto the rocks?
  16. If they have a Krungsri I would chose that, hands down above all other banks, you can get 0.9% up to 2m baht also, bank book, and up to you if you don't want an ATM card. Maybe you could list the other banks there.
