  1. Butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers.
  2. Emojis down again !!!!!!!!!!
  3. Well of course I haven't, foreigners are not allowed to register or own any firearm in Thailand, so unless you are a Thai citizen neither have you. Why on earth would I want a firearm here or anywhere else, or support the US arms trade, the RNA controls the US government, What a pathetic country it is. Why would YOU want to own a gun in Thailand????????? says a lot about what you might be involved in. where they don't even have to be locked away. Plenty of Thais have money to buy guns as we have seen in the news many times here.
  4. Another regurgitated story here again. and my emojis have disappeared.
  5. Don't forget most Thais have hearing damage, from an early age, the schools, village, and temple blaring speakers, and those trucks with speakers, The schools seem to be the worst, I'd like to watch the inter-school football, but the commentator non stop shouting over the speakers makes impossible for me. We went to a 'School Party' and the volume was 83 !! decibel. I kid you not.
  6. I have been on both, I am not wealthy and am self funded when it come to health issues, that is my main reason for now staying on a marriage extension, so my money is not tied up, for a retirement extension. 800,000 baht must stay for 5 months all up, having to worry about not dropping below that for med bills is a no brainer for me. as opposed to 400,000 that is only needed for 2 months of the year for being married.
  7. Only 2 shootings reported today, must have been a quiet weekend then.
  8. Well who else gets their hands on it ??? and why is it secret???? who has the power to allocate who the billions go to ??? Go on I dare YOU . sounds like a not so veiled a threat to me.
  9. Yes very easy apparently, home made, and imported from the USA, Thailand's gun laws are pathetic, and the nearly daily shootings just carry on, unabated. Police and Army also have been known to steal and sell them.
  10. I meant to add I used a swimming 'Noodle' lots of ways to use that to strengthen muscles, bend in a U shape push down with a foot and arms, round the back of the neck and under the arms, sit there like an armchair kick the legs if possible.
  11. I spent a year in a wheelchair, luckily all I had were broken bones/pelvis, I could only just walk on crutches, after one month, putting very little weight on my legs. I won't bore you with 18 month recovery. Try to find a heated hydrotherapy swimming pool with disability access for him, I found it so good, with no weight, I understand he may not ever recover, but the feeling of being able to move around in the water gave me such a good feeling. I had a list of physio exercises to do There are also Taxis with wheelchair ramps if he gets that bad. Also the choice of wheelchair is important some are really heavy, others are lightweight good for putting in a car. Plenty of poorish disabled Thais I have seen with modified M/C, one trike I've seen, he goes up the back in his wheelchair. but at 80 I'd not be doing that. Get him swimming if you can.
  12. Cliff Richard was/is touring at 83
  13. Let me do the sums....360,000 pounds for a couple to stay 10yrs yes it is doable + all medical costs for maybe 10yrs
  14. And apparently you don't die from the impact the tree kills you according to the well written headline. I agree they are very unforgiving those trees seem to be quite vengeful init
  15. To be fair how are the cops supposed to know when taxis refuse a fare or not use the meter? if not for people ringing 1155 what is amiss is there "Hotline" is always busy and needs more operators at peak times like on a Saturday night at 11pm.
  16. Yep and very big ones at that.
  17. And still no proper gun laws or mandatory sentencing. It just continues unabated, What useless governments we have here, and still allowed to import guns, yet alone all the home made ones.
  18. So for a couple 3,000 pounds a month 129,000 baht a month what a bargain!
  19. Nowhere does it say 1,500 pounds is for two people.
  20. Yeh we know what this article is but aren't allowed to say, if they are "flocking" here then why even mention it, they would be full. This "story" appears at least once a year.
  21. So they don't die if they stay in Thailand then.
