  1. The person who 'repaired' the wire and ''haphazardly wrapped it in plastic tape without proper insulation'', should be charged and jailed, for putting peoples lives at risk, and causing severe injury. If she doesn't recover then manslaughter at the very least.
  2. Nah he was just about to touch it to find out if indeed it could kill you. Thai wisdom init.
  3. Drove it into the tree to stop the bus OK then if you say so matey, No time to change into a lower gear and turn the engine off. Were they air brakes? was it manual or auto? We will never know.
  4. I had a problem 2 days ago and they had sent an email which I had to click on, after that logged in ok.
  5. I can't think of a more worst unreliable Thai business/company, even registered mail they can't be bothered. I have to use my wife's shop 2min away from my house. Even when they do deliver mail it is sopping wet. KOH CHANG POST OFFICE YOU ARE INEFFICIENT THE MANAGER SHOULD BE SACKED ALONG WITH MY POSTMAN! What I can't understand is where they keep it all for months on end.
  6. I have the same problem with my post, and had one arrive about 3 months late, I just went to the bank and paid it, no extra fine +20b bank charge. I only get post about twice a year. I have in the past emailed Thai Post about my useless post service and after a few days 6 mths of post turned up.
  7. I used to use onion gravy powder, on my sausages, but now fry them with onion, soo much better IMO.
  8. Mmmm yum, chocolate sausages.
  9. A thinner gravy.
  10. I guess bigger than this one.
  11. To those confused at my comment, you need to think about when a room catches fire the first thing is to get out, then grab the extinguisher. well the UK fire service could be wrong but I doubt that.
  12. Any government sponsored handouts are ripe for the pickings, including the millions handed out to temples every year.
  13. Most showers have their own RCD and won't produce any hot water if not earthed.
  14. Probably got in his/her dark tinted car and drove home.
  15. Just a little bit of info. Fire extinguishers should be fitted outside. And especially never in the room you expect a fire.
  16. All new builds for the last 5+ yrs have regulations, PEA came to my house and checked the earth rod in the ground, before changing the meter from building charge to domestic charge meter. Some other changes all power cables to the house from the meter, must be clamp connected, not twisted wires with a bit of tape, and any underground cable must be twin copper triple insulated to your power board.
  17. Yes every power socket is earthed.
  18. All cable installation is 3 different colored separate cables, through yellow conduit except to lights only two.
  19. Yes mine does, even with the power turned off, if you touch the positive and negative together it trips, Scared the bejivers out of me one time while doing some wiring, I had to triple check my power was off. Any power leakage through you to ground should trip it.
  20. My wife literally just called and told me "No hab electic tilak" A passing friend came and re-set the RCD for her, while I was on the phone. true. Why it tripped I have no Idea, last time it was full of those tiny ants.
  21. Yer recon it would be good to replace the oil after 300k really are you sure about that?
  22. An RCD can be retro fitted to most power boards, without rewiring the whole house, I got one fitted at my wife's shop.
