  1. I only found out from the OZ embassy, 'after' I had done some running around from this end, bouncing between hospital and cop shop they hadn't told me before. . I got so stressed by the whole thing I came out in a horrible pus rash allover my body yuk, i ended up 2 days in hospital. As my friend had MND I had his ATM card, so (illegibly?) withdrew what little savings he had at the hospital, with permission from his family in NZ I had a document giving me power of attorney.
  2. some seem to be completely uncappable of doing anything for themselves without an agent to hold their hand, even scared of immigration, even to re-new a driving license. unless your disabled then that's a different story.
  3. Agree, I wonder if it was him that 'lost' her passport, she asked for help from immigration and was trying to find way to return home, most would go to their embassy for emergency travel documents, I wonder why she did not after making the police report. Sounds like no money or return ticket, did she 'loose' that as well, or was he fed up with supporting her. Pass the Vodka honey.

  12. That's a crackdown? coming across 2 by chance, is not what I'd call a crackdown, a crackdown would be checking every vehicle for guns and weapons. Illegal guns here are more than the states. Jail time should be compulsory and registered guns locked away. IMO
  13. So not yet approved, let me know if and when they are available.
