^ Thanks for that well thought out argument
No problem.
I'm going to start manufacturing Penny Farthings. Anyone interested?
-
Congrats on the new bike.

Even though Honda say they're not going to be produced in blue?
-
They're crap like HDs are. Definitely don't belong in the 21st Century.
-
^ I had a yellow VF750S on my drive, but Honda never painted it that way.
I'm sure you can buy the yellow panels & tank from Honda.
-
Not sure if someone has already pointed this out, but it looks like we're only getting the 1.5L engine here, which is a bummer.
-
^ No yellow here.
-
If my boys want a bike they'll have to get a job and buy their own.

what are you trying to prove pokerkid? A chinese Benelli will never hold its value like kawasaki, nowhere in this world man!
you do not have to prove me anything as i will never buy a Chinese Benelli:)
to prove something to me, you have to buy a Benelli 600 and write your impressions here because while riding a jap bike, you do not sound reliable and reasonable as you have no balls to put your money on what you speak!
but look at me, i like japanese bikes and i buy japanese bikes. Because i do what i believe and want but yours is just word salad!
also you started being a weirdo as well calling me a teacher. just be creative, dont be that cheap pokerkid! you can do better, use your brain as your last posts sound desperate and i dont want your faith to be like the weirdo with a.s pain constantly attacking me. You can be a better man:lol:
Also, i think the bikes on the add you posted looks like they are stolen, why they take pics when the bikes are on the back of a truck!
so maybe that is why it is so cheap:D
Just saw this post and am confused.
"calling someone a teacher" - is this some kind of swearword i don't know? Sounds strange
Just the usual Bar Stool know nothings that post on here.

A regular padlock through the holes in the disk brake can slow them down a bit.
That's we we used for a long time on the scooters. They certainly wouldn't be able to push it down the road.
-
These new age Thai made Hondas (250's and 500's seem to be a bit fragile, with shocking reports of customer service).
Honda in Chiang Mai are crap, but the others are doing a good job. The bike is certainly not fragile.
How many Big Wings nationwide, three?
5? Is that 4 more than Benelli?

Comparing a supersport to these bikes is stupid.
Normally I'd agree but in this case I do wonder what the CBR 650R has going for it vs. the CBR 600RR?
It seems to cost about the same (US MSRP of the 600RR is USD 11,500 which would be about 345,000 Baht), but is heavier (210 vs 185kg wet), and has less power (85 vs. 105hp. So - what's the upside? Is there an upside? Or is the 650 going to be crazy cheap?
I would guess that they're bikes specifically designed to be good road bikes and built to a price for the growing Asian markets, rather than detuned supersports which are probably not as good for the majority of riders.

5 colours for the CB650F have been announced, but as ever, not every market will have every colour. Surprisingly, no red available, so I have to hope the yellow is here.
Pearl Metalloid White (Tricolour)
Pearl Himalayas White
Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic
Sword Silver Metallic
Pearl Queen Bee Yellow -
I think it looks OK for a Toyota, but I'd still get the missus a Suzuki. The Yaris even has a choice of actual colours unlike the rest of Dullota's range.

Z1000 2014. Reminds me of the duke 1200. Not too bad....
A headlight only a mother could love... Kawa going all in with the alien head / insect look. I don't mind Manga style but this is .... eh.... no. And all silver painted plastic too... jeez. I guess all the good designers are off designing new baby ninjas.
I think Kawa & Suzuki are both hiring blind people to design their bikes.

F = 205k
R = 210k
X = 215k
Yes there's availability.

I'm sure HD will do well in Asia with these bikes, but they are hopelessly outclassed by either everything else in a similar the cc range or similar price range elsewhere (even in Thailand).
HD fans won't like the water-cooling and a few other modern(ish) features.

gold rims on cb650f and might be deciding factor for many
I can easily get them powder-coated black...
-
And specs.
Cbr650f is 211 kg and f is 208 kg. Just over 210.
Not bad still a bit heavy for city.
87 hp at 11.000 rpm and 63 nm at 8000 rpm. Good!

Same weight as the Ninja650, but with 16 more hp, but same torque. How much are the Ninjas in Thailand?
You forgot to mention the exhaust note... Which will sound 10000000000000000000 better than a twin.
Nonsense! My CB500 hasn't got an exhaust note!
-
I don't think these new 650cc are imported, if they were the price would be higher.

They're not. They're made in Thailand.
-
^ That's what I was fearing.
300k on the head would bury Kawasaki's 650s.
