So, i live next to charcoal manufacturers and sugarcane burners. We have a tractor with tank and firehose. My wife drove it and put out all the fires and destroyed the charcoal pots. Police came out and said she was allowed to do it. Its selfdefense because the pollution is killing people and people have a right to protect themselves. Also it is illegal and it is the duty of the mayor but if they arent doing there job and people stand up things happen!! Local news got wind of this story and forced the mayor to do his job. Sugar cane idiots still burn needlessly however... just not as close to us but still stinks and still black rain.

700b is pretty cheap. 2500b for an hour, 1500b for 30minutes most places ive been. I am white though so its the customary discriminatory racist pricing where im violated and treated like an object instead of a human being... and i gopro every ride. Never been scammed apart from the initial price which i do haggle.. Im a lot bigger than the operators and look like i would go off handle any monent so maybe it helps????????

probably was true because the way the police work here is to do nothing if a thai will get in trouble when a farang is involved therefore the farang also wont get in trouble. Thais dont look nicely on cruelty to animals so blame the farang and everyones happy????

The rest of the Europeans are probably back kickstarting the tourism in Europe for which many visiotrs will be the rich from Thailand that made there money from tourism without ever lifting a finger.... Im getting the popcorn that i bought online cheaper than at the local store. Toruism is dead, go get real jobs people and stop taking money from tourists. It's actually all a bit weird and immoral the way tourism is promoted here..

I agree 100%. Now tell my neighbours, officials and such. They wonder why i scare them back and its putely because of the amount of cash ive splashed out here over the decades. I dont want special treatment but would like my family not have to be raided checking for drugs and guns or have tourist police out to check all because my inbred neighbours feel inferior and have to act like children and lie to authorities in the hopes of being booted out of the country because my neighbours think they are going to get our farming machinery, land and such.

Whats worse you can have video evidence and make countless police reports of fake police reports made and even the police believe us but no action is taken and this is why it doesnt change. It's embarassing to Thailand. If i was in a better financial situation i would hav3 left already. One things for sure though and that is my family stopped coming many times a year years ago because they dont feel safe.

the only thing i liked about thailand is i can drive and ride like an idiot and just pay fines, or not by doing runners from checkpoints. dam it!!

Im under the impression they have no right to ask for this. You've got the visa and should have 20k cash backup which is all they can ask for and should keep them happy but could be wrong.

Im aussie and just returned from getting another multi marriage visa from aus and had to now show 8k aud which is fine but never before been requested. Same shts happening to marriage non Os now i think thats been affecting everyone else.

I always feel im going to end up losing houses, cars, bikes, other machinery, my kids, etc if i dont magically have some made up amount of money or crossed T or dotted I when asked. Its a constant fear and no way to live a life.

Thailand should take a little responsability for letting people set up lives here that otherwise wouldnt have. Biggest regret of my life so feel im already being punished so stories like this make me absolutely sick. My wife and kids want out of this miserable place but at our ages and worth (because weve been screwed out of everything here) we cant afford to do it so will most likely be seperated eventually.

Farmers pay people to spray who HAVE bery short lives. Thats fact because its dam obvious if you live amoungst farmers as we do.

Not all weees need to be pulled either and can in fact help richen the sil when rotared or plowed for next harvest.
