i Have seen it happen to my neighbor in the USA, flooded her house first floor very quickly, and she was home. She didn’t know about the shut off valve. She called me first, and not her husband, because she knew I fixed things. I have been a handyman for almost 50 years, I wouldn’t install a new washer without the top of the line washer hoses. The hoses sometimes have movement depending on the pressure and your washer, so there is actually wear and tear happening every time you do a load. If you know where an isolation valve is inside your condo, and it’s easy to get at, it wouldn’t hurt to turn that off when leaving for awhile. And if you google washer hose and insurance you might see some other stories. Sometimes it’s good to worry!

Saw about 30 this evening in Chiang Rai at walking street, and night bazaar, same same. -
Hello, just wondering if it’s still necessary to get there early like before Covid times for a visa exempt extension. Thank you!

Happy Ending, after emailing back back and forth for a week, the pending charges dropped off and Thai VietJet sent me a link to purchase my ticket with a nice discount. The payment portal sent a code to my phone, so I could authorize through Capital One. Thank you!

Are you located in USA for the purchase?

Hello, tried to buy a ticket from BKK to Chiang Rai today, I’m in the USA now. After inputting my credit card number I got an error message saying payment wasn’t authorized (or something like that, should have screen shot it). Tried 4 times thinking I was entering wrong information, even tried a different card, now after looking at my credit card accounts online, I see their are 5 charges pending, I never got a confirmation number or email, and every time I was picking the same seat. Anyone else have this issue? I have bought tickets from Air Asia and Bangkok Airways from USA no problem in the past. Thank you!

visa on arrival overstay

Is this possible! At the airport, while getting stamped in? On a visa exempt? -
Yes! “Tipping is not a city in China”

I think they want you holding your 2” extra photo taken within 6 months, along with your information page from your passport. Then they can compare if it’s really you and you took the new photo within 6 months. ???? Let me know what you find out on this. I had the same experience as you, totally flustered after trying and gave up.

ubonjoe, sorry, I forgot I saw this also, it seems newer as it’s mentioning the Evisa process. So confusing for an old man! And if I could ask another question here, can I apply for the Thailand Pass and Tourist visa from an IPad? Can I upload screenshots of the information they want? Or will I have to locate a desktop with a scanner? Thank you,

There are several of these digital pass apps now, but they are not universally accepted, and you can only apply for certain ones depending on where you were vaccinated. Can I just take a photo of my vaccination card and download it for the Thailand Pass?

I would also like to know this. Singapore Airways has a digital only requirement that I can’t adhere to just to transit through Singapore.
