Did my extension renewal today armed with 2 sets of all the docs, immigration handed me back one set and told me they only need 1 set now. When did that start?

Incidentally, Only needed one copy of the docs this year instead of the usual 2. How long has that been a thing?

I just find the process a bit stressful. A couple of years ago, Phuket immigration outright refused to accept an application based on income. Flat out said they cannot do it based on income. Was fortunate that about 2 weeks later, head of Phuket immigration was quoted by the local press saying that income based is perfectly acceptable. Just had enough time to go and make the application before my visa expired. Thankfully, my now local immigration (Phitsanulok) are a lot more laid back and reasonable than Phuket

I did my extension renewal based on income (marriage based) today, and the application was accepted by immigration However, the last 2 months, my income has come via transferwise, and although they should be marked as " funds for long term stay in Thailand" they just shows as domestic transfers from Dee money in Thailand. I supplied the PDF from transferwise that shows they originated as a Euro transfer, but am concerned as they are not official documents So, should I be worried about this, could it be rejected down the line? If this does become an issue, will I likely be given a chance to resolve it, or would it just result in the application being denied

Need to do my extension based on marriage very soon. I am about to start collating the docs I need for things like my Bank docs. how long are they valid for. ie, within how many days before making the application will they be valid?

About 2 years ago, Phuket immigration stopped accepting income based renewals. THen there was a news article the phuket immigration bigwig said that they do accept them. First they refused to even accept an application, then after this news article, I went and spoke to them, and they told me I need bank statement and this other piece of paper that shows the above mentioned info (my statements do show it as a froeign receipt anyway), but what Immi asks for is what they get, they accepted the application and approved with no bother last year I did it at Phitsanulok, just gave them exactly what I had given phuket immi, accepted and approved no bother My options seem to be get my sister to send me some money to make up the deficit, or pay an agent, I really dont want to use an agent. Any other options you think I can add to that list?

THis is the 4th time i have extended based on income they have never even questioned the source of the income before,, I have just given them bank statements, and a document for each of the foreign receipts showing the currency amount sent and the THB baht amount received

I always do my extension based on Income, this month, my income source has changed, meaning that I am just short ( about 6k baht) of the monthly minimum income I require for the extension. Next month the amounts received will go back to way above the minimum looking at my options (renewal is in January) If my wife transferred money to my sister in the UK, then my sister transferred that back to me (maiden name, so not the same surname), would immigration query this foreign money received from a different place Also, moving forward my income will be paid In Euro, to a Wise (transferwise) Euro account in my name, I will then need to transfer from Wise to my Thai account each month. How do Immigration view this, as effectively it will look like it is coming from myself

Its actually cleverly worded, they say UPTO 500,000 russians, so thats anything between 1 and 500,000. They are probably correct this time
