Yes I know that, I have built several Tower PCs, and NUCs. As you say, it is easy these days. Installling an OS (W11) is pretty straight forward as well. But asking again about any International warranty. If one of the components does fail, which is most unlikely but possible, who and how would it get fixed?

It would make sense for them to do the same in UK, where you simply fill in a form, ticking the appropriate box even if it is telling lies. Even over 70 you do not need any sort of physical test, not even an optician.

Sadly some of us older idiots who have got their home & families here are priced out of Health Insurance. Luckily I have a very good University Hospital close by, who have provided me with adequate and reasonably priced treatment.

Usually these days, it is almost impossible to book an hotel directly, they all use booking.com, or expedia. All others are sub-divisions of these two. I was even told at one hotel for which I wanted to add another night, to do it on the computer standing there in the foyer. Surely the hotel would have saved the 15 or 20% they have to pay the agents. Talking about baggage, my son is today flying Dubai to Bahrain, Etihad airfare AED 409 one way including 25kg in the hold & 7kg hand. 10kg extra baggage AED 528!
