Just say "there are no loan sharks in Thailand", just as "there are no prostitutes in Pattaya". Problem solved!

Sounds great in theory, however, it'll never work. Except for when a government official visits the school with media.

Why do Thais have to make peace with Sinovac at the grossly inflated price of B1,700, which is probably only marginally effective, when better alternatives with credible stage 3 trials peer reviewed in reputable journal can be obtained for a fraction of the price?
That expensive? How about split one intramuscular dose into 5 subcutaneous doses?

I wonder how many of those are real tourists, not returnees? But of course, they all need hotelrooms...

It's a long way to 70%. And a significant proportion have probably gotten the Chinese stuff, that might prove to be completely worthless.

Teach the teachers not to spend beyond their means. Hopefully, the teachers will teach the pupils the same.

Will the "high quality foreigners" be excluded from the vaccine demand and covid tests ? In line with being excluded from 90 day reporting? Surely, they don't pose any threats compares to the "low quality" backpackers?

Will make absolutely zero difference for the tourism. Even one single day of quaranten is a deterrent. And even if they would remove the quaranten completely, am certain they'll keep the multiple PCR tests and the 100.000usd insurance, which many other attractive destinations do not demand.
No, Its quite obvious that the Thai tourism is and will be dead as a dodo for a foreseeable future.

You get the under consideration stamp with a report back date on it. You go back to get it on that day.
There are no appointments given to do it.
I have not seen any recent report of them doing a home visit. It think they have been stopped doing them due to covid 19.
Is that procedure different in other provinces? I heard those who've got a call to collect their extension when it was ready.
-
To any of you who've recently applied for an extension based on wife/kids at CW. Did the immigration schedule you for an appointment to collect the extension, or did they call you when it was ready to collect? Did you have any home visit by IOs during the consideration period?

I think ultimately, when the proposal has been sieved and filtered, a foreigner who invests 10 million etc, will not even be relieved from 90d reporting.
