Not sure this is relevant to your insightful comparisons and question asked, but perhaps the dire impact in italy as an example may have something to do with one of the mutations of the original strain that came out of Wuhan and thus proved more deadly than the original strain?

I believe scientists have to date found 4 strains of Covid 19.

    OMG another one!!!

you must be doing some serious travel to make such a statement

you seem to know more about things than the government are publishing

how many deaths in Thailand in the last 120 days have been reported let alone investigated

Good to see you have your finger on the pulse - you must be the person in Thailand

There is always one ,and your it.

well,  we ALL  have time on our hands and are taking up time posting on this forum,  as well

as other ways to pass time.   Generally  i read and or post knowing that it is just my own form

of claptrap    haha     Maybe i read too much into the wording used by rooster,   but wanted

    to give my opinion anyway.

There are big debates on TV  about the handling of the C19  "crisis"  ,  actually getting boring

as nothing is ever agreed upon.   Experts, Facts,  Theories, Shutdowns........

I am suggesting that maybe ................

    oh,  forget it

The lead in 'Rooster in hospital ' struck me. I was hoping to hear about at least a lobotomy

    or an enema.

OK,  I usually don't analyze your weekly posts.   Generally good natured , and  generally the

digs you take don't bother me.

Soooo,  you got your little dig in at Donald this week.   No problem.  But an easy mark with

thousands of like minded ( read:  self centered power figures)  running amok

I guess what really caused me concern is that I do not think you would think that your writing

reflects the usual MSM  blah blah ( maybe i'm wrong ?)

The excerpt above IMO  is one that plays right out of the brainwashing playbook.   Write something that gives the impression that there are FACTS involved.   The words "suggesting" and "may"  are definitely not factual.....  but those puppets  readers who are not so keen will

obviously take this as a warning.   Yes,  the art of "suggesting"  and "maybe"  are quite effective,

but it is what goes around those words that media chooses to edit as they deem fit.

Generally  i could care less .......... but as you and almost everyone is reminding us.....

    these are unprecedented times .

My feelings exactly. I don't why I bother to read this claptrap. Maybe it's because I need to

reflect at what somebody with too much time on his/her hands thinks the world needs to hear  their thoughts.

I might be an outlier here, but I think Anutin is perfect for the next Prime Minister. He will take up right where the current PM leaves off and there will hardly be any difference in job performance. Prayut set the bar about as low as possible and there is no chance in hell Anutin will raise it.

Poor little Anutin has to actually do something without Daddy's help now. Does he still have the training wheels on his bicycle?

Will you all leave this poor man alone. he is doing his best!

Real football supporters know that Liverpool are the deserving champions. And i am a SAINTS supporter, good luck and well done to them. p.s. now that the transferred players are all settled down, can we have out Tea Lady back, because you took everything else.

This is a serious discussion on Covid . If you pommy <deleted> want to talk about a poofy ball game

go on the right thread. talk about leading the ignorant by the nose.

To not kill the economy and risk real potential social unrest the restrictions have to be lifted enough to allow people to work and travel within the country. Yes - good chance the numbers will go up but little choice. Common Thai people are asking a lot of questions now under their breath that they previously would not dare ask. Have to open the economy up next month and let people make a living again

That's what it is. People need to work and feed their families

They can't do that in a lockdown. Open up where possible through tests or whatever.

They refuse to pay people in high positions to come here and they are also aware that they would have to employ Thai Managers that are known Worldwide to be a complete waste of space in every business !

True about Thai managers. The Sheila at my local Tesco is a complete waste of space.

Unable to put correct prices on items.
