Why is Thai Visa NOT ALLOWING COMMENTS on the protests in Bangkok????
Because it's news provider is not allowing it.
Check the other English newspaper. Although not 100% it shows a pair.

doesn't look much like a tease to me.
It is both intimidating and very dangerous to the child,
I assume the lawyer doesn't have children. If he does, he is only after blood money.
Shame on you buffoon.

I think I misread that, I thought he wanted the new recruits to
teach the older officers on how to use Social Media.

I am really at an end to try and understand Thai philosophy regarding this pandemic.
Close the borders and let no one in.
Let the Chinese in en-masse.
Let the citizens go where they like, but they must wear masks even though the has been no local transmission for umpteen days.

Unfortunately you maybe right.
it's what keeps Thailand from being unable to escape from being a Third world country.

I have been here for 23 years and I just wonder how I keep my sanity.
Luckily I spend more time on Western news sites.

What ever it is the foul mouthed owner needs to garner some respect of others.
Personally I hope he suffers.

We have a government made up of convicted dug smugglers, cheats on exams, insulting xenophobes, money launders etc.
Why worry about this?

From reading this nifty report from the government PR folks, you almost wouldn't know that vast numbers of elderly and disabled in Thailand (those outside BKK, according to news reports) didn't receive the monthly payment they were supposed to receive in the past week.
Does the above article make even the slightest mention of that? No....
Did any of the pollies miss a payment. I bet not.

Rooster, I read your column every week liking some and hating some.
This week's opening was a load of hogwash.
The belief in myths which extends to religions is one of the fundamentals

The outstanding problem is the lack of effective enforcement and minimal penalties when an issue is raised on social media (500 baht fine and a wai) does nothing more than reinforce and further enable the sense of entitlement of those with flagrant disregard for rule and courtesy towards others.
These problems are not dealt with, far from it in fact, the consistent message is ‘do what you want, you’ll get away with it’...
Is there a Thai word for "common courtesy?

I read the opening post 3 times and then checked the calendar.
