Gatick was always cooperative but she was only once misled by a lawyer in the first place, Mr Sira said. He identified the lawyer only as “M”. It’s always someone else’s fault. They must teach this in the schools.

Well, if this doesn’t boost the confidence level for Thai and foreigners in the keystone cops here I don’t know what will.

Thailand does the math: Two are dying per hour on the Thai roads

Getting them to wear helmets is also easy, but requires law enforcement to do their job, and therein lies the problem. -
Admission of guilt should never be a reason to not carry out the correct punishment. If you commit murder, you deserve execution. Does anyone really believe this piece of dog <deleted> will spend his life in prison? He’ll probably have a better life in prison than he did on the outside, be out in 5 years, and ready to kill again. Is that what you would want if this was your wife, daughter, or family member?

It’s no wonder Thai roads are so dangerous with idiots like this behind the wheel. -
One dead three injured as pick-ups collide at Kanchanaburi U-turn
Nkpjed replied to webfact's topic in Central Thailand
I wonder how many lives would be saved if they outlawed U-urns? Probably none because traffic laws here are merely a suggestion. -
You’d have to be pretty drunk (or stupid) to squat off the back of a moving speed boat to pee only holding on to someone’s leg. If the bathroom actually wasn’t working as reported (although never confirmed as far as I can tell), then why didn’t the boat stop and let her pee safely? It was late and dark. And why did it take so long for someone to contact the police? It seems that would have been done from the boat when they couldn’t locate her. Instead we see a video of them milling around the dock afterwards like nothing happened. It doesn’t make sense. But then again, this is Thailand where common sense is anything but common.

Why do so many expats fall off their balconies in Thailand?
Nkpjed replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is not the problem. How about people being responsible for themselves and aware of their surroundings.
