I’m afraid not. Thais, & foreigners that have been driving in LoS for too long, simply ignore ‘road line markings’. Education and enforcement of the meagre laws in existence would be a start.

Not too sure when the actual reinstatement (to the usual standard) of the road is expected to be completed but the outgoing mayor was quoted as saying the removal etc of the old cables is scheduled to be completed by March 5, 2020

Now that there’s a date to work to maybe now is the time to get the outstanding infrastructure works/repairs completed, including sorting out the catastrophe that is Beach Road in Patong.

Then theres the preparation for the reopening of the hospitality industry plus of course theres the huge problem of trying to get enough staff back to Phuket and provide the necessary retraining that will obviously be required.

Other wise it appears to be ‘all systems go’ for a bumper 4th quarter for 2021

Kids coming home from the local school have been riding their motorcycles at 120kph through our moo baan for years.
