  1. They're not overcrowded or jam packed at off peak times except perhaps at certain interchange stations!
Between Asoke and Siam can be chaos especially weekends

What happened? Was there a population explosion in bangkok? It was never like that years ago
  2. About time Thai Gov't, put more time ensuring treatment of Expats living in Thailand by Thai Immi is fair & reasonable. Old story , seek new business & not take care of existing customers!!
Recent changes to Retirement Visa requirements & procedures are vague & without proper information to those affected by the changes. All very well for Maj-General Surachate Hakpal to be "making a name for himself" dealing with illegal immigrants, how about taking interest & care of all the legal Expats , who pour Billions & Billions of Baht into Thai economy every year!!
99% of it is in happy hours.
  3. Went to hua hin for a weekend last year during closed season and experienced that rude behaviour from most shops etc but I noticed in 711 they were not even greeting anyone as they walked into shop. Went to PKK a week later what a difference a few km makes. Beautiful everything.

  4. The government and the BMA have already made many street vendors disappear, and now they are going for the few that remain ? Most tourists don't even use those street vendors anyway. I wish they stopped harassing these people. Before you know it every Thai on minimum wage needs to use the junk sold at 7-11 because all the cheap street vendors are gone !

    idiots.
Your missing the point. Those dirty scum are polluters and block footpaths. BEST thing junta did was burn them. No more slurping soup for the teachers so back to chasing balloons...

  5. +The beginning of the end for Nigerian dealers, black whores and lady boys infesting those sois was the junta shutting down the street bars. Now you can see almost nothing African especially around soi 13 and its possible that with the 5  star Hyatt Regency opening in a few weeks there was a unprecedented crack down on 13

Thai ladies standing in front of the sofitel next to soi 13 are free to sell their cats though..all good
