As you are in Pattaya area I suggest you see this US trained Thai Dermatologist:

I am not in thailand at the moment, and all the dermatologists and doctors down here dont know what it is. If the issue wont be solved and i come back to thailand when its possible, i will for sure visit this dermatologist, thank you

that's an antibiotic. Helpful to fight or prevent secondary infection but not really treatment for insect bites.
I remember that the doctor in thailand, gave me antibiotics.. I just cant remember the name of it, but im 100% sure it was antibiotic medicine

were you involved in any other activity in pattaya at that time that might possible lead to an itchy area like that ?
No, i have been tested for STDs and everything. My doctor in europe thought it was a fungus infection, so she gave me some creame, but it didnt work so its not fungus either

I was bitten by a spider, on my leg, while sleeping, years ago, and it took a couple years to stop itching, Could have been some other insect, not sure.
Did it leave a red mark?

what you need to do is remember the hospital that treated you and send a email to there help desk giving your name and approx. time you went to them for service and then they may refer you to the pill and what the dr thought it was at the time.
Will do that thank you

I doubt any pills will help you. Likely just scar tissue from original bite and scratching. No way an insect bite is still causing local irritation after 2 years.....see a dermatologist who can likely abrade it and get rid of the scar tissue
I went there, but they couldnt help and said that its going to stay permanent which i know cant be right since its still icthing which means it isnt cured yet.. The pills ive gotten from the doctor in thailand made it reduce the size as it became big and looked like a huge pimple, im sure if i had continued to take those pills it would have disappeared completely

Hi, last time i was in thailand 2 years ago, i got bit by an insect under my belly botton, and i started noticing a red mark, that kept growing bigger, and all of a sudden it started hurting a lot, i could barely move, every time i had to do movement that made it move, the pain was unbearable.. So i went to the doctor and he prescribed me pain killers along with 2 other pills that i took, and it healed and i was cured.. But it left a scar that has been there for 2 years there, and sometimes its itching. The red mark/scar doesnt feel the same as my skin, so i assume the condition is still not cured, but looks like how it was since the start when i first got it. My doctor here in Europe dont know what it is so they dont know which pills to prescribe me, and in thailand i forgot the name of the pills that the doctors gave me.
Does any1 know what it could be?

Until march? The vaccines are already being given to the western world.. Why can't they just allow vaccinated tourists to enter?

It seems like Thailand will maybe reopen in march, so wait until then. Vaccines has been sent to holland for testing, if they approve them, europe would be starting to vaccinate its population in the start of january, there is 2 doses to be taken with the 2nd dose has to be taken after 2 weeks. So expect europe to be completely vaccinated in Q2, and thats where thailand claims to start reopening

Yeah if it works... but we dont know whether its going to work or not... 95% efficacy is what it is currently, but what about in 1 to 2 years or 10 years??

Both media reported that Thai foreign minister Don Pramudwinai was in favor of opening the country further to all foreign tourists.
Without vaccination being a requirement?

How is this possible when the vaccine isnt approved by WHO and other organisations yet but expected to be be approved in december?

Seems to me that the travel, hotel and hospitality industries will push hard in most/every country very quickly for no entry restriction/hotel quarantine etc., as soon as travelers can provide proof of vaccination.
Plus in Thailand (and other countries) these industries have strong political power.
But we wait and see.
Exactly.. I doubt there will be any restriction once your vaccinated.. I just dont hope it will become mandatory to be vaccinated before you can enter Thailand. And in worst case scenario, that your forced to take the vaccine in thailand if you wish to continue staying.... I wouldnt dare taking the vaccine there..

Only the new single entry tourist visa is being issued by the majority of embassies and official consulates.
Only those in low risk countries are issuing the special tourist visa (STV).
Is there a list of those low risk considered countries?

A ฿60-100k car in Thailand will likely be older and more well-used than you anticipate. It could well be a money pit. You also need to factor in the cost of insurance and the hassle of the annual vehicle inspection.
A rental will be far less stressful.
I've driven tens of thousands of miles in Thailand without a problem (so far) but it is definitely more dangerous than Western countries. You need to stay alert.
Haven't you noticed a difference between driving in the daytime and nighttime? isnt it easier to drive during the night time since there wont be as many cars? phuket, pattaya, bangkok?
Renting a car is around 15k baht per month so i find that waste of money, unless you know a cheap place to rent?

Hopefully later on efficacy will prove otherwise and visa restrictions will be lifted.
The efficiency has already shown 95% successfull rate, so im sure the current requirments will be dropped as soon as people get vaccinated before they come
