Few of them down here in Phuket, what I didn't understand was I always thought getting an ED visa was to learn Thai, I met a Russian a while ago on an ED visa he was learning English,

Not part of her job description on her work permit, Thats a job Thai's can do,

I have to disagree with all of you, The local orbortor does a great job, down the beach there is plenty of bins when I go down to one of the beaches in the mornings there is a team of guys sweeping around, We go to Rawai for a coffee on the beach front, same there guys sweeping along the beach road, Where we live they come around in the night to empty the bins at least 3 time a week, You as a Farang cannot go cleaning it up you don't have a work permit,

All part of the fun

Technically they could get arrested for cleaning the beach, but thats a job Thai's wont do they are the ones that leave it there,

I was talking to a guy the other day and he is leaving Thailand next week, he said he's had enough, he likes to come for extended holidays, they were staying in Surin and moved to Rawai, him and his wife don't like the area no more, He didn't actually say but I know where he is staying and it's full of Russians. Maybe this driving people away, the other week I know one farang moved off the island and another one I see down the beach in the mornings next month he is also moving to Khao Lak,

Years ago they had some mad rule about farang dive instructors not being allowed to carry their own dive equipment to and from the boat, that was in Chalong pier,

The question is, did he have a work permit?

Maybe, but you are not allowed to clean your windows,

Even though a person might have a work permit it will only cover specific jobs, strange but true

In years gone by farangs have been arrested at Phuket airport for dropping people off, one I remember was stood there in full view being given money from the passengers, idiot should have made them pay him in the car,

I see also an English guy got arrested at a temple in Karon for working as a tour guide, when will they ever learn?

Some Norwegian woman got arrested for driving tourist to the pier on that island

I know this is bout Phuket, whats happening in Bangkok?

On the island there is few car rent with some High end cars, all top of the range,

Probably grassed up by a Legal nursery on the island, not easy getting licenses for that kind of business, plus the work permits

I met a couple of Russian families last year who were leaving Thailand the next day, their plans where to go to Turkey and pick their cars up and drive to Spain where they had family and friends, they intended to go to South America and maybe end up in Argentina, one of the wifes was pregnant, if the baby is born in Argentina then the baby get citizenship and so do the parents, they said here is just nonsense,

I would say don't pi$$ the farangs off too much, there is many other places they can go and camp out,

Flying your kite is illegal all over the world,

It failed to mention they rounded up a few Burmese also,

If you ever see a Thai in your bar and you dont know him, then dont move,
