And meanwhile, supermarkets and the BTS/MRT (places where people come into close contact with each other) remain open as normal. I don't get it!!!

Where can we shop if they close the supermarkets? And how can we leave bkk without a skytrain or taxi?

Will the bahtbuses also stop operating?

    Great idea.

Do they also supply a list of shops which don't have "no masks" signs?

Today I wanted to buy masks: Out of stock, out of stock, out of stock, ...

I wear a dirty one which even broke in the mall so i had to repair the band for the 2nd time....

I think the main point here is - does wearing a mask put you at more risk of infection - probably not

At least you won't infect other ones around you, is that so hard to understand?

KTB, like other banks, offer horrible exchange rates anyway. Anyone with a bit of sense changes money only at independent money changers such as Super Rich.

The most laughably ridiculous thing is the KTB money changer located at Suvarnabhumi on the lower ground floor as you're heading to the ARL. It's opposite Super Rich. No one would ever exchange money there because their rates were much lower than Super Rich. Good riddance if they go out of business - unless they adapt to the competition they're bound to die.

Last week we were at the bank anyway and out of laziness i wanted to change some cash....she started to exam every single billiet with a loop so i told her they were all real...then the third billiet had a tiny tear in the middle from foulding so it was refused....another one had a tiny tear at the corner, also refused....so i ordered my cash back to go to superrich which took them all without questions.

The billiets all came from an atm in Europe.

    Old planes?

You must be thinking of Thai, Qatar has one of the youngest fleets of any airline in the world average age of aircraft 5 years.

Have flown with them business class many times if you fly economy with any airline the seats are small..

Wrong mate, i'm used to the A380's and they have bigger seats, better computer and look much better anyway. Also i hate those buses where you have to wait in the heat and even have no space while standing/holding while the driver is racing the thing over the road.

And i can agree with the other posters that the staff of QA is rude and don't care about the customers.

Just saw that they were going to ban arrivals from Thailand though so she might have a problem going back to Germany though (unless the ban doesn't apply to Transit passengers).

Where did you see that? I don't see it on their website....

Silly accents from Bangladeshi staff ???? really, one of the reasons you will refuse to fly with an airline is because of the accents of some of the flight crew???

Yes! I can't understand their english accent so i don't hear the announcements since i have no idea what they're saying.

I can't help but wonder how many cases have NOT been reported, or are part of the "official figures", in order to "save face" and "protect the image of Thailand".

Well to get tested costs 10.000 baht, and if you're tested positiv they'll send you home for 2 weeks...so how many thai will get a test or just stay home for 2 weeks themselves? In case they get really sick they can always go to the hospital.

And rightly so, they should be lucky for the amnesty.

They need punishment for giving Thailand a bad name...because of them it's very hard for honest thai to get a visa in the rich countries.

i have a problem with these hand sanitizers you carry around. Say you have Corona virus on your hand after touching something, you get your gel out and clean your hands, virus free but no, the hand sanitizer has been touched by Corona so it's still there when you put it away and back on your hand

Well than you also rub some on that sanitizer bottle, it ain't so complicated..
