Ah yes... the moobahn gulag bodybag theory. I threw that one out for general consumption on another, similarly over-infatuated forum just a few hours ago so it's nice to see that someone pick it up and run with it already.
Truly it doesn't matter if this or any government has been somewhat remiss with facts and a bit cavalier with the details. The fact is Covid-19 is here in Thailand already so instead of rinsing and gargling on internet forums, we should just concentrate on washing our hands.
Even at the immigration there is no hand gel and half of the applicants doesn/t wear a mouthmask inside...

I'm happy that I moved to Laos. I get 4% more Lao kip for my USD income than last year - sits nicely with my 6% pa interest savings account... ????
Where do they give 6%? Chinese bank maybe?

OK just googled it. How many Thais care where their food comes from? Wuhan excluded of course....555. Better to use resources on whether food is organic or free from pesticides.
GI products are for people who don't mind pollution....good that they mark them now so i can easy avoid it.

It wasn't really a fight. One guy with massive punching power against a much bigger guy who is fast for his weight and just bullied the smaller fighter. 20 kg difference or something. I didn't think it would make that big of a difference, but it did. Then he sang American Pie. Hilarious. I don't care where they are from or what color their skin is, I like to watch a good fight. This one wasn't good, but it wasn't bad.
Exactly, it even wasn't boxing..no technique, no combo's, no superhard punches......compared to Mike Tyson this was wrestling.

I would seriously suggest one of the condos along the river. There's zero traffic noise, most of the good condos have their own ferry which drops you at Sathorn pier, you jump off and take the escalator to the BTS (Saphan Thaksin). Lovely breeze from the river if you leave your balcony open, sit and enjoy your beer in the evening. Rents are lower than in the Sukhumvit area
There you'll hear the longtaiboats, partyships, jetski's and so on...and smell the fumes of diesel..

Its construction was supported by a US government budget of $2.75 million (Bt28.5 million).
Why do they support it? Thailand can also buy (chinese) submarines for 1 billion us$.

They are toys, are adults supposed to play on them???
They are a scam, their computer makes sure you won't get too much out of them by changing the voltage of the grabber so it will drop the thing you grabbed.

I live far away from the road but here we have a lot of noise from barking dogs from the Benz owning neighbours around who must have 3 chiwawa's which don't listen at all...or the doves, roosters from far away.....Thailand is just very noisy.
But i agree that the motocycles make extreme much noise, there was a crackdown on them some weeks ago but of course that was only for show, as usual. Most of them also don't carry a license plate....

"Two passengers, who arrived at Kolkata international airport from Bangkok, have been placed in isolation for suspected novel coronavirus, officials said on Thursday."
Since when has a positive thermal scan been confirmation of Corvid-19? Same garbage reporting as the Daily Mail yesterday and the two prisoners in the UK who eventually tested negative.
Why did underline the words 'suspected virus' ????

Whats the point of coming 3 times though? ... I understand them checking 1st year but people that have already been married for years and people whom they already visited, I don't see the logic.
And what's the point of showing pics of you and your wife in the house, bringing the neighbours to them to get interviewed as well...and after that they'll come to your house, want to see all and also go to interview more neighbours.

Its a 3-4 hour round trip for me to go CW immigration and I live in bangers. I think I will demand coffee and money next time I have to goto immigration
They even don't give you water or hand disinfection cream while you have to go there for 3 hours with the neighbours in tow who had to take a day of from work.

Some experts are saying that the infection from the virus in China is more likely to be 4 to 5 times higher than what the Chinese government is saying which in affect could mean the death toll might be as high as 4,000 to 5,000 very scary if true .
Other experts say there's nothing to worry about since only 2! victims of the virus have died outside of China so far.

The ship that docked in Japan jumped up Japan second on the list of most corona virus cases.....
Is this a good idea?
Sent it back to Holland let them deal with it.
Why to Holland? What do they have to do with it?
Diamond Princess is a British cruise ship owned and operated by Princess Cruises.

“I would like to insist that the screening process and staff at all border checkpoints are at 100 per cent readiness, so Thai people can rest assured that no infected persons could slip through,” he added.
Are there infected persons on the Westerdam?
Also i don't understand why the westerdam came to thailand and claimed they had permission to dock...who gave them the permission or did they make that up?
