  1. Yes Bruno, I have bought many to try. All have been disappointing thus I had nothing to say about them. However it depends on the person, others may find they are happy with local smoke. Will probably buy some more to try as you never know when you might strike lucky. But in the meantime I will still buy quality budd as a good smoke is not that expensive as a little goes a long way..!!!
  2. Noodle... Agree Greenlabs I would give a miss for sure. However your post yesterday said that Prikpot was an amateur site. Chilli charlotte is marketed at a price@10 grams for 2900 Baht. It's an entry level price for better budd than others. Have you tried their Gigabud...??? or Silky delight..??? or strawberry Kush...??? Their gigabud is my fav over all. The 2 you have tasted are not representative of their product, still good, but not their premium product. Suggest you try again when they restock as these strains sold out very quickly. And to note I did not pay retail as I order in bulk. This company is not amateur as you put it. Suggest you revisit..!! Good smoking to all.
  3. At this point in time it is illegal to smoke in public and a cafe is classed as a public space..!!!!
  4. Hi guy's... Wow this has really heated up as regards price and strains....!!! At the end of the day it all depends on what you want and get from a puff or two...!!! If 20 baht Thai weed works for you...Excellent, keep smoking and enjoy. If you are looking for a more quality high then none of us will get that from regular Thai weed no matter how it is named, og kush@150baht per gram etc. The locals are very good at trying to market a Thai stick or brick weed using exotic western names to extract a higher price. After trying numerous products from Facebook and Shoppee over the last six weeks I for one will stay with quality puff and pay the money. As I said it's what you enjoy. Happy smoking to all.
  5. No...!!!!! I am not saying I am a Thai expert as you put it. Just talking from experience in Thailand and really would like to come back and say I was wrong. However at this point in time I am correct in what I say having tried many cheap products over the last 6 weeks. But I have to say Thungrat I just bought some OG Kush @ 150 Baht per gram from the link you posted and looking forward to trying. And I hope it is good and if it is I will be more than happy to report back and give an honest answer as regards it's quality. And yes Robsamui I agree we will all have a good laugh at today"s pricing in a year or so. Good smoking to all.
  6. Thrungrat... I understand the thread. Have been retired in Thailand for 12 years now and the local gear during the last 12 years has been very average at best. Given that it is now legal the original poster asked for the cheapest GOOD weed. And in my opinion Prikpot has the best available and if you looked at my prior posts you will see that you do not pay the retail price for said product if ordering over 20 grams. So I am on the correct forum given what was asked in the post. Maybe you could do a thread for the best weed for under 50 baht per gram.
  7. As I said keep enjoying what you smoke. If your happy with what you get... Happy days..!!!!
  8. OK Bruno123... It's like buying a bottle of Bells whiskey from Big C or Makro at half the usual cost of genuine. You take home and open and you know straight away by smell and taste that it is not Bell's whiskey. However if you buy from a trusted supplier you will get the genuine product at a cost. Thus if Prikpot sells Green crack you will know that is not brick like most posters sell. As I said before, try some quality product from a quality supplier first and then report back with your comments or better still PM me with the name of where you get your smoke from and I will order and try and report back as regards the product.
  9. Bruno123.... Nothing wrong with brick weed if you have not smoked quality budd. When I was 16 Thai brick weed would have done the job and done it well. However we have been spoilt over the years with high quality good budd. If you are happy smoking what you buy then enjoy. But you only get what you pay for, quality costs as per all things in life...!!!!
  10. Blackberry, greenberry, green crack, squirral tail, thai stick etc. It's all the same....From brick weed with some very clever marketing to think that you are buying a quality budd. Sorry to say after trying many new names to the market that all are rubbish and not worth smoking but I will say that they are OK as a mixer of 5 to 1. I myself bought from Prikpot some 6 weeks ago. Ordered 4 different strains....Blue og, Silky delight, Giga bud and Strawberry kush. All I can say is try the cheap brick and then buy a little from Prikpot to try. Prikpot has amazing budd...!!!! My go to shop..!!!!
  11. Within Thailand no problem at all. When first made legal I ordered from Prikpot COD to my home. Large order and arrived with no problem except the delivery guy was laughing his head of because the smell from the excellently sealed packets was still very strong....(He knew for sure). Then ordered 10 grams of squirrel tail to use as a mix. (5 to 1)..1 being the squirrel tail. I to was very dubious as regards disclosing my details but I thought what the heck, have had no problems at all. To add Prikpot do do an excellent quality product, and I know it's not cheap, but if you order above 20 grams it's discounted by about 40%. Their Gigabud is superb. Quality is long remembered...Price is soon forgotten. Happy smoking to all..!!!!!!!
  12. Agree with ditching the OA visa... Normal Non O no insurance required. If you really want insurance living here beware....!!! I had full insurance cover from AXA and in September of 2019 admitted to Bangkok hospital and diagnosed with cancer in multiple organs. Bangkok hospital invoiced AXA for 420,000 Baht for a 2 week stay, multiple MRI scans and tests, drips, medications etc. AXA paid and further appointment's were made to follow up what treatments were needed. I thought brilliant, I have peace of mind that I am covered.....Stupid me...!!! Received my renewal from AXA some 6 weeks later as expected and paid said renewal. 2 weeks later I received an email and a hard copy letter stating your policy has been cancelled. No reason given, I challenged their decision but they wrote back saying we have the right to cancel your policy at anytime without reason....(And no refund for the 1 year I paid for in advance). So the long and short is medical insurance is not worth the paper it is written on.
  13. Just a quick question for UJ as regards applying for a new Non o....Do I need an updated letter from the bank on day of application. I have been on retirement extensions for 12 years now (Money in bank) but the renewal date doe's not suit thus I am going to Laos to get a 30 (just prior to expiry) day entry and then apply for a non o and then back to retirement extension about 30 days prior to expiry of the 3 month non o. Many thanks in advance for your answer.
  14. Hey nightbird..... Is it going to be a good or bad surprise...????? Expecting bad, anything above that is a bonus....!!!! Sure can not complain about price even if poor quality. Good smoking to all.
  15. Hi guys... Just ordered some of the 200 baht for 10 grams stuff from shoppee. Not expecting to much from it but it will be a perfect mix for my Prikpot order. Have to say being a seasoned smoker of 40 plus years I can honestly say my Prikpot order having arrived a few weeks ago is top shelve. Ordered 4 different varieties and all are superb. And just a tip, if you contact direct and order over 20 grams the price drops about 40% and they are very generous in their weights on bulk orders. Good smoking to all..!!!!!
  16. I myself do not care what happens to the money.....!!! I am dead...!!! My girl will find a way to get for sure...!!! It's the Thai in the Thai girl way...!!!
  17. Brilliant Thailandryan... Nice to have all of the puzzle in place before travelling. Will try and muddle through the TNG before I go. Many thanks for your reply.
  18. OK...I will use the links for more info. All questions now asked and answered. Thanks Ubonjoe (Your knowledge never cease's to amaze me). And thanks Dr jack.
  19. Wow...Things change all the time. Can you guys suggest a good to go company for said insurance ??? And one last question, can I pre do my Thailand pass prior to leaving Thailand ??? Thankyou again for your replies.
  20. That's what I thought Ubonjoe...The insurance is only required until the end of my current extension which would be four month's upon my return and then no insurance required for my renewal as per normal. Am I correct in my thinking ???
  21. This is one for Ubonjoe....I have a current retirement extension which I have had for over 10 years now and wish to return to Australia for a month or two. My question is do I require proof of covid insurance upon my return to Thailand ??? And yes I have a re entry permit. Thanks in advance for any replies.
