That's it. Much better than before, but note that it is low season now. No visit, as almost always, without a problem. They insist now on passport photos with the person in front of a white background. Needed to do new ones, had no problem in previous years.

Famotidine, up to 40 mg per day, is an OTC medication that I take. Lighter than omeprazole which I suppose should not be taken for too long time. Yes, do it. A fascinating place. I was in Siem Reap again in July 2022. Not many tourists, primarily people from Cambodia. The one-day-ticket was valid the day after, too.

Never had a problem over the years. Still, all valuables are in the bag I have on my seat and always take with me. Years ago, big buses starting from Khao San Road were reported to be risky when it comes to luggage. Some small guys went - during the drive - through a small door to the luggage compartment and started digging the bags, stealing valuable. There were stories like that. -

I applied for Bangkok Bank Visa card and got it; plus a bonus card, Aisasia Mastercard. I opened a special account to my existing one, put 100 000 Baht on it. The limit for both cards therefore is 100 000 Baht. Note: It's the American system; you pay only a part of the debt per month; it takes another 20 or so forms to be printed and signed to make the agreement: Pay the full debt every month.

Never had a problem to change Euro into Dong. In Vietnam. Guess you will have a bad exchange rate should you decide to change GBP into VND out of Vietnam.
