  1. 1.  ONE completed TM7 - 2 pictures.

     2.  Proof of funds.  400K for I think it has to be in your bank for 2 months before and a month after your application or something like that.  Bank Letter + Bank Book. The bank letter/book must be updated the SAME DAY AS THE APPLICATION. Some offices like to see a transaction on the day too.

     3.  Photos of you and your wife around the house. One with you outside clearly showing the House Number and 2 inside the house.

To even comment on your successful relationship, we'd need to know the age gap, and how old you and your wife were when you got married. In this discussion, age makes a big difference.

Apologies for the late reply. Age gap 5 years, married in 1992 which made me 29 and the Mrs born 1967, so 26. Next? 3 years difference.

Never, wait until your demise, because once you transfer the property to her name you HAVE NOTHING, and knowing

Thai people and the influence their families put on them once it is out that this is the situation now, you'll be sorry you did...

It must be so satisfying to be in a long term loving and trustful relationship. I feel sorry for you, really do.

Just to add, the Tinder pickings in the UK were diabolical... overweight, tattooed, bad plastic surgery, photos filtered to high heaven...not claiming to be an oil painting myself, but boy was it depressing.

Tinder her is online Soi 6,  you take your picks.

  5. Having had a couple of resorts and dealing with all the booking companies, most of whom seem to be part of just one group. 18% commission is / was the base rate. To get higher on their pages you, the hotelier could increase the amount of commission you paid. A lot of the big 4/5* places pay commission believe it or not of up to 50%

  6. Yes, I did it a few years ago. Took the main 210 from Udonthani to Loei, nothing spectacular. On passing Loei and having plenty of time, I decided to take the 'scenic' route to Nan. So I turned off at Phu Ruea and went that way. Sorry, can't remember the road numbers as was using an old road atlas. The idea was to follow as closely as I could to the Thai/Laos border for as long as I could.

Would I take that route again, probably not. Small isolated roads, some in extremely bad condition, landslides, no other traffic (climbed over a mountain and back down), saw no one except for one guy tending his herd and no fuel stops.

Good for an adventure to do once, maybe good for a bunch of bikers (on off-road/adventure bikes) but in my case, driving a Vigo, never again. Ended up emerging just south of Nan.

  7. There are no trains to Ranong, long bus journey (from Bangkok) or a short flight to Ranong airport, situated 22km south of Ranong Town. Once is Ranong, head to Sapaan Pla I think it was called from memory and you can get a boat to Koh Phayam from there. Take cash. there were no ATMs there last time I went, albeit quite a few years ago. Enjoy..
