Brickhouse, best bar in Udon by far!

For sports, Route 288 for sure. 3 TV's, big screen, sound system and pretty much every sport shown. Full bar and a comprehensive menu too including Tex-Mex.

This TM30 petition is a total waste of time. It is Thailand, their country, their rules. Simple as.
As an aside, can you imagine 'foreign immigrants' in your home country trying to change 'your home countries' immigration laws?'???? Nah, didn't think so.

Thanks for the offer...
Even though I'm well under 50 I'm still covered from a few angles now....
- Married with a Child in School - So I could get the Type O visa based on a dependent or Marriage.
- I also have the Life Long Thai Elite Visa.
The topic I was trying to cover was for single guys under 50 years old...
I first 'moved' here at 23 yrs of age, the initial 2 years being 3 months on/3 off, so 25 .... and a half when I settled here permanently (pre-internet days) , 56 now btw. Never, ever had a problem with visas, Non 'O' is what I have been on in all that time with multiple work permits. Why someone, would pay 'stupid' money (and I am not a poor guy) to get an Elite visa goes way over my head. Less than 7k a year and all my visa/re-entries etc are all sorted. An 'elite' visa is how much nowadays? I don't need spa's or fancy golf clubs nor do I need limousines from the airport, my airline supplies them .....

My Go Bag scenario has happened twice in 3 years.
Family emergencies
3pm Friday afternoon about 7 months ago.
1. Straight to big C. Stocked up the family with enough food for 6 weeks.
2. Sentosa- stacked up family with 6 weeks of nappies and 144 cartons of milk.
3. Mom and pop shop - 15 x 6 litre bottles of water.
4. Ensure lady123 has all knowledge of all accessible funds.
5. Booked flights to bkk and bkk to Heathrow. 24 hours to depart.
6. Packed my 2 pairs of jeans, laptop. 5 pairs of socks 7 pairs of pants, 1 jumper 1 jacket and 3 T-shirts, my UK sim card a passport.
Arrived in Heathrow Sunday morning 6am.
3 weeks later, returned.
Happened twice.
Sentosa? Intrigued

Thai Visa, we, your audience seriously need a 'Yawn' icon. These stories are becoming daily and, guess what? We are not interested any more.

Hmmm, a frigid sack of potatoes. Try the markets ...

In answer to your questions:
1) Yes. No problems at all. Turn up, park your vehicle, buy your ticket and go. Safe parking and friendly staff.
2) Again, no problems. Just remember to have a re-entry permit if on a Non Imm visa.
3) Yes, at the ferry port.
4) A few years ago since I have been that way. It is possible to take a car to Langkawi by ferry but ..... when I tried to do it, they said it had to go on a different boat and that boat wouldn't be going until the following day. In the end, we took the regular passenger ferry and left the car in Kuala Perlis. Having been to Langkawi quite a few times, I'd suggest taking the passenger boat and renting a vehicle once on the island.
5) Puloo Payer or however you spell it is very popular.
Enjoy

According to the police report on the news last night, the CRV was in the correct lane. The driver of the black Toyota was in a lane with orange chevrons across it, positioning her in a non-existent lane. Was she queue jumping as she was obviously attempting to go straight on? Why the CRV couldn't stop after what was a fairly minor bump though is a mystery.
Still, the driver of the CRV should have checked to see all was clear before starting his manoeuvre. If he had, he would still be here now. So, basically, both at fault and unfortunately two people have lost their lives because of that. But, hey ho, pretty much normal driving here.

I bought a hand-made twin axle 3m box trailer from a very small engineering company called GT Trailers based in Samut Sakhon. Very good quality, brakes, lights etc and fully registered with blue book/orange plates when I picked it up. He specializes more in boat/jet-ski trailers but he also makes box trailers, single or double axle.
Not much English spoken but he can be contacted here: https://web.facebook.com/gotrailer/

Each case is different but I personally have had a few accidents here and each time the police involved have been surprisingly unbiased and fair. You may well be surprised.

leftover 747 at udon thani airport
a plane on Koh Kred, the island in Chao Praya just north of Bangkok
some planes, viet nam war leftovers I think, at Wat Hua Krabue in SW Bangkok
I must be blind. I went to Koh Kred a couple of years ago and can't remember seeing anything that resembled a plane .....

Having driven many 1000's of km around Thailand, I have been to and passed many different and interesting places. One thing that has intrigued me is that out in the middle of nowhere on the roadside you can come across a redundant Boeing 747 or three along with various other aircraft.
I am not including the military aircraft you see outside the Air Force bases.
Aircraft I have personally seen:
There is a white Boeing 747 in Ubon (outside a University?).
Two planes (Boeing 747 + ?) that have seen better days off Ramkhemhaeng in Bangkok.
A red Boeing 747 on the side of Route 346 (Banglen I think the place was called).
Unknown aircraft type on the side of Mittahparp between Chockchai Farms and Saraburi.
Old Nok Air propeller plane (ATR?) in the middle of nowhere just off the Asia Highway north of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
I vaguely remember seeing another plane on the roadside heading towards Chonburi, but that was a long time ago.
Has anyone seen any others around?
The pics below are of the Boeing 747 on Route 346 taken yesterday

If this boat is more than 24 metres long, my shoe size must be in the hundreds.
Sometimes, quoting about something you know zero about can make you out to be a big fool on the internet. ?
Have you seen the actual photo of the boat?

Sounds to me as the RTP have done a pretty good job on this one. They found the two warehouses, found who they belonged to (rented by), found out how the shipments were being, made three arrests and taken nearly 15 million pills off the street. And that is just from the information that has been made public, I'm sure there is also information we don't know about.
I know it goes against the grain here, but good job RTP ?

Pullman Hotel has craft beers downstairs sometimes with good offers. I don't drink the stuff so don't know what it tastes like.
