500B ! It was a standard 200B a couple of years ago. Inflation is rampant in Thailand
Was 100 quite a few years ago .... when the 500'S were the size of an A4.

From that photo, the beach and sea look absolutely filthy.
Disagree. Some of the clearest seas/beaches I have ever seen in Thailand were on Samet, albeit nearly 3 decades ago. What they are like now, I have no idea.

Sarasin bridges, 3 now, known as lovers leap bridges. Many a person/couple have jumped off them .... not too far to the water but an inability to swim has been their downfall. Hopefully he made it to land otherwise RIP young man.

You presumably live in Thailand, have a Thai wife, order goods from a Thai company .... might be time to learn some of the language me thinks. The blame certainly doesn't belong to {quote} the 'NEW delivery boy.'

The "bad news" posted is in fact true according to Patrick Shoo who operates La Lom restaurant in Buriram. I miss having a cold beer with the Mexican meals served at London Steak or Harley Route 288. I look forward to a Bloody Mary once again at Jimmy's Sports bar during a late breakfast. I will post when I know for sure the Buriram restaurants can once again serve alcohol.
Somehow, I feel certain that the people and establishments you have mentioned will not be sharing the same 'confidence' as you exude on having their names mentioned on this very public forum.

'Technically' the 'booze ban' is still in place in venues that are public (bars/restaurants etc) although purchasing booze in the major outlets (Makro/Big C/7-11 etc) is now allowed.
Btw, 'technically' has many meanings ????

Probably get slammed for this, but here goes ....
A violent career criminal gets treated' roughly' by law enforcement unfortunately with a fatal ending for the 'violent career criminal' and the result is that it seems like the whole planet sides with the 'violent career criminal'.
Am I missing something here?

I plan to buy this from here but I have no experience and anyone's help, comments or opinions are welcome.
1TB is ample. Less than 15k, comes with 2 games too from Lazada, Banana et al. Prices will probably drop in the not too distant future as well as the PS5 appears.

I can never understand why anyone, wherever they are from, gets pleasure in advertising their 'generosity'. There are many many people here and around this little planet we live on whose generosity is absolutely mind boggling - and yet they all do it without the need to have their face/name plastered all over the place. Be humble everyone, it's actually a good feeling.

You can't educate the uneducated when it comes to road sense!

If you want to experience cultural Thailand as a country, keep well away from any tourist destination. Plenty of places out there.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse were at the marriage guidance centre.
" So Mickey, what's this I hear that you want to divorce Minnie because of her wonky teeth?" the counselor asks."
"Nothing to do with her teeth," Mickey replied ....... "She's <deleted> Goofy."
????
Ok, I'll get my coat.

Had 3 deliveries today alone, first one a guy in a white saloon, the second my regular guy (motorbike guy) who calls me by my name (pretty much delivers to me daily) and then a Kerrys van. Can't complain at all, excellent service in my eyes. Never ever had a problem with them.

Personally, I think China played a master-card here. Destroy the global economy and somehow protect your own. I think there is a darker side, a lot more to this than people realize.

I had this specially made by https://www.facebook.com/gotrailer/, a small company between Samut Sakhon and Bangkok. 3 metres box length and twin axles, brakes and fully registered. Never had a problem with it.
