Cost is dependent on several factors such as whether you fly business or economy, what insurance you get and what price point you are willing to accept for your ASQ and which service provider you utilize for your Swab Test and F2F, plus any associated costs if you travel to London for your visa submission.
For me
£2800 - Flight
£60 - Visa
£155 - Swab Test and F2F
B 55 000 - 1 year insurance
B 65 000 - ASQ Hotel Quarantine
Plus £650 for accomodarion in London for visa and swab testing etc.
Not cheap but it is what it is. I hadn't seen my wife since January and enough was enough by end of August.
is it a must to buy 1 year insurance ?

Yes you should try again. And show then that from to the immigration order and ask them to check with a higher authority about doing another one. Show them the first two pages in Thai in this file. Number five is the one just before the signature on the cover page for the order. Pages 1 to 2 of Order 327 2557 in Thai.pdf
thank u....

It seems you did get a 60 day extension. Some offices are allowing people to apply for 2nd 60 day extension.
It can be waived under this in the immigration order for extensions.
"5. In the case where an alien applicant does not meet the full qualifications stipulated by the criteria herein or in other cases not specified in this Order but a competent officer equivalent to or higher than inspector is of the opinion that the alien has legitimate reason for staying in the Kingdom of Thailand, the application shall be forwarded to the Commander of the Royal Thai Police or an authorized competent officer for further consideration of the alien's application."
ubonjoe , do u think i should try again tomorrow ? just in case ? cos i did go last week , and they said i could not extend ...

CM immigration wanted my 400k seasoned for 2 months
(even though it only needs to be there on day of application for family extension).
I meekly accepted it, it was only 1,900bht extra, you can't win with them.
britmantoo , u mentioned its only needed only for 1 day and not 2 mths ?

That was something stated by a deputy spokesman for immigration. It might be the same one that said there would be no amnesty extension the last time it was extended.
If you read closely what he said is only quoting what is written in the immigration act and the ministerial order for overstays done in 2016.
The 150k still here without extension might be enough to push through another extension or a new ministerial notice allowing for special extensions.
Now its 2 days more to 26th... Would u think they will have a sudden amnesty extension

There is a 24-hour grace period when departing from the main airports. The amnesty ends midnight on the 26th and provided your finish with immigration by the midnight of 27th, all should be fine.
My flight is 2:00 a.m. on the 28th
So its not sure right that its fine right...

I got my consideration stamp today til the 20th of October. Will need to come back on 20th to change it to 26th. The process was not as bad as I thought. Officers were nice and helpful there.
Book your appointment asap here: http://203.151.166.132/immigrant_queue/booking/
Choose: apply for short term visa - counter K
bring all necessary documents and 1900 baht beforehand and you'll be good to go.
this applies only for those residing in bkk right ?

How can any foreigners still in Thailand be classed as a Tourists? No tourists visas have been issued outside Thailand for more than 6 months. Doubt if the proposed 90 day long stay visa will materialise. Personally even if a visa was available would not be keen to travel as covid is still present in most if not all countries.
the fear of being on a flight with someone who is infected with covid is much more scary ....

I'm on a non o for marriage, I have 2 kids been married 14 years.
unfortunately, I extended my visa for 60 days just before the borders were closed.
I live in the North East.
I went to immigration this morning and was told I could not extend my stay and had to leave by Saturday.
Fortunately, i was able to do a 1-year marriage extension, so no problem.
be warned if you think there will be soft options to stay beyond this weekend you will be very disappointed.
glad for u... im like u but i already extended and cos i didnt put 400k in their banks , i couldnt get any extension.

@Wongkitlo , is this yr first time extending for 60 days ?

If you are married to or the parent of a Thai you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit them.
If not and there is no announcement about another "amnesty" then you will need to leave the country or get a letter from you embassy to apply for a 30 day extension.
so if the non imm O visa holder , came in for 90 days , applied for 60 days and got their 30 days extended in total which is about 6 mths , after this what happens ?
they need to leave the country and come back? there is no way that they could stay here for 1 year without leaving ?

You must depart every 90 days or less - you do not have to return unless you want and that would be another 90 days. You can extend for one year if meeting requirements from a valid visa entry. 90 day reporting is not required for that type of visa/stay.
I hope you arrived in Thailand within the last several months as if entry prior to that your visa entry would have expired and you would be on amnesty and subject to requirement to depart by September 27 unless amnesty is again extended. Or you have extended your stay.
however during this period , those who are on NON IMM O and coudlnt leave the country what do they have to do ? pay 1900 baht every 3 mths? pardon my ignorance

There it is. Petty jealousy driving all the behavior. It's a global crisis man. I never asked for this special behavior before. When the crisis ends immigration resumes the normal routine.
im feeling pretty <deleted> too ... not sure why would thailand drive out all their tourists and have a new "plan" for tourists to come ... doubt most people would come , stay locked down 14 days in an overly expensive hotel and then pay for their visa , plain stupid

Tourists face arrest, jail for overstaying
this doesnt make sense at all , they want to bring in new tourists , but how about all the other foreigners who are currently stuck due to this covid sh*t
dont even want to extend their visa legally for them ? this sucks .... big time
-
if on amnesty and leaving on 27th Sept will it be considered overstay ?
or is it better to leave before 26th
appreciate input

hey everyone ,
for NON IMM O Visa , is it a must to go out of Thailand once every 90 days ( in the past before covid )
and then return to Thailand again ? since now there is no way to get out of the country i guess its only 90 day reporting in the country .
for reporting every 90 days , its free right ? and we can just report at the IO or online right ? pls correct me if im wrong .
cheers

Charter flights won't be cheap. By the time you add in compulsory 14 quarantine hotel, flights, CV19 insurance, other admin costs you are probably looking at min. $5K before you even start your holiday on day 15...
this is really dumb , i wonder what they are thinking
-
britmantoo , happy for u ...
for me already used it and the IO says no more extension ????
