Thanks sounds like wrapping might be the better option.

I'm thinking of getting my yamaha grand filano hybrid repainted or trading it in. Anyone have any idea what it would cost to repaint it in the Pattaya area. Or know any good paint shops?
Thanks

Good luck had the same issue 2 years ago here in Pattaya was a bunch of Russians renting for 2 weeks then new people kept rotating every 2 weeks. Everyone of them were always making lots of noise. Reported them to the condo, they verified that they were short term did nothing, reported to immigration did nothing, reported to the police did nothing. I then made it a ritual to file a complaint at least 5 times a day with the condo after recording the noises. They had the owners soundproof the rooms which lowered the noise a little was 3 doors down from me and 6 doors down the other way. Still was an unacceptable amount of noise. I finally just moved into a house problem solved been here now for going on 2 years.

The application doesn't seem to work anymore, says can't connect after I put in my username and password. The website https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online
Gives me this error
Failure of Web Server bridge:
No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF or method not idempotent.
I just got a new passport and have already transferred my stamps over, do I even need to redo my tm30 or can I continue to use my old one? I prefer to do online as Immigration has extremely long lines to get anything done.

I had some vitamins in one package they made me go to the thai fda office and get everything approved as long as I paid duty on them. I gave the receipts to customs in which the duty owed was very little then customs still didn't like it and said one item was not allowed. I told them I would surrender the one bottle of vitamins but they said they couldn't and everything would be sent back to the United States. That was September never got past sri racha post office in 4.5 months.

Private taxi driver in an unmarked taxi had no problems today bringing the dog. Just took her 2.5 hours for a ride usually done in 90 minutes.

It's a 8 week old English bulldog in a travel crate. The person I'm getting it from wasn't sure, then they called the driver and he said no problem for delivering a dog. Had someone call the Banglamung District Office they said no problem as well as long as their are no other people in the car.

Are taxi drivers able to drive from Bangkok to Pattaya with a dog to be delivered to me no other human passengers.

Last time I got a new passport I had a non o multiple entry visa, and immigration did their thing transferring everything at the airport. Now I'm on a 1 year marriage extension do I need to go to my local office that gave me the extension "Jomtien " to transfer it or wait until I leave the country the next time. No plans on leaving anytime soon.

Foodland at terminal 21 has fresh tenderloin they cut it to the size you want 699 baht/kg. Got 2 kilograms to try and it's extremely tender and delicious. Previously I bought at big c but was much more expensive and expired at times.

I got a quote for 20,000 baht for Pacific Cross but there is much cheaper
Tune insurance I believe depends on your age. It also covers more than just covid. For me as a 38 year old male with the lowest policy it was 15k baht for a year. They also sell policies for shorter amount of time but those prices aren't much cheaper. Definitely pays to buy the yearly plan.

Good luck they made it extremely difficult for me. I had the 2 months of transfers well over the 40k requirement approximately 100k for each of the past two months. They also required the usual paperwork. 1 year Thai bank statement, deposit same day with updated bank balance. They also required paperwork showing where I get my money from in the United States with an explanation. They also required 15 months of bank statements from my United States bank accounts showing my money every month with my deposits highlighted. They also required me to show them my debit card from the United States and give them two copies of it. I didn't like that since with all the information they had they easily can go on a spending spree on my account. I wound up having to cancel the card and ordering a new card from my bank in America. On the bright side they were finally happy with everything and gave me my 30 day under consideration stamp after spending all morning getting everything from my bank and at immigration the rest of the day. I had about 5 previous denials because I didn't jump through their hoops properly.

Ethiopian airlines cancelled my flight. I asked for a refund initially refused after telling them at least 10 times I want a refund they said it will take 6 month at least and they would charge a cancellation fee and a no show fee for the flights they cancelled. I should get 50 dollars back from a 850 dollar ticket. So I just filed a charge back on it and got a temporary credit while my credit card investigates. Ridiculous to charge me fees because they cancelled the flight.

I will be going to Africa in September and I need to get a yellow fever vaccine. I know i can get it in Bangkok at the Red Cross, but I'm looking to get it in Pattaya. I found in previous posts several years old by Chic Republic and one by Big C Central Pattaya Road. Does anyone know if those places are still open? Or any recommendations on a place to get it done.

Bought covid19 insurance from roojai on March 30. They said when I purchased i would get the documents in 14 days. Emailed them the other day, they said give them 14 days so they are wanting to postpone issuing the policy for a total of 28 days. Waste of money.

Noise in my condo is very minimal during the off season, however in high season they have illegal short term rentals with Russians who have no respect for the long term residents. Always yelling and slamming doors every 5 minutes all day everyday. Office management does not do much about it.

Insuremytrip.com is what I use

I am thinking of trying to get a 1 year marriage extension. I would need to apply at the end of November. My current stay is valid until December 9th. I need to leave the country and head to China for a week or two from December 7. My question would be if I am successful with my extension and get an under consideration stamp can I leave Thailand during that time and what if anything would I need to do to keep everything valid?

I just got a new US passport. My old non immigrant multiple entry expires in February in my old passport. My current entry is good until December 11. I am planning on going to Ho Chi Minh City in December with my wife. Can I get a new non o then. I don't mind losing the 2 months on my old visa. It's more of a matter of convenience since we will be there in December.

I like the Yamaha dealer on theprasit near the theprasit 8 alley. Bought my Grande Filano there, got my 1000 km oil change, and flat tires fixed there. Always was very reasonable price and quick service.

Thanks yes I guess changing it with my banks, AIS, motorbike insurance will be on a day that I can take my wife with as it's always easier with a thai.

I will be getting a new US passport, and my thai driver's licenses have my old passport number on. Do I need to update and get new driver's licenses or can I continue to use my old licenses which are good for another 18 months before renewal with my old passport number on.
Yamaha grand filano hybrid vs a Vespa 125lx
in Motorcycles in Thailand
Posted · Edited by PattayaKevin
Went looking at motorbikes and narrowed it down to either a Yamaha grand filano hybrid or a vespa. I've had a Yamaha grand filano now for a little over a year. Wife says Vespa is good but expensive can't tell me the good or bad on Vespa. Seems like the Vespa holds its value better. Not sure though how well they drive. I know the Yamaha handles good. Any inputs on good or bad between the Yamaha grand filano and Vespa would be appreciated.
