you always know the Chinese immigrant families because of their long surnames. They were so disliked by ethnic Thai Civil servants that when emigrated here they were given unusually long names.

On a separate note my delusional wife follows Buddhism , Hinduism,  and Chinese religions . . They are solely responsible for her success! her ability has absolutely nothing to do with it. Her response to my baiting her is that every thing in my life is an accident. She then gets a big sloppy accidental ???? kiss in front of her customers to the statement that I gave up my invisible friends when I was a child but I love you anyway. its not so easy to block as first they would have to break the encryption.  in more sophisticated VPN's its next to impossible. China's great firewall can't  beat well known VPN's so I doubt Burma can either.  I made a vpn for a friend who worked in a western bank where everything was blocked. my vpn got through easily.

we use a 5 stage Mazuma water filter. They install and contact us yearly to service and change the filters. good filter and service.

Robinhood were not the problem here. The people who they have to trade through generally have to submit a small deposit for trades. Any lawsuits against Robinhood will fail in my opinion because they are not the guilty party. it works like this you....robinhood,.....main broker.  the main broker pulled the plug thus protecting the "market" or as we would say the hedge funds. There is little doubt someone will do hard time for this but I doubt it will get anyone from robinhood .

Last week I checked into a local Hotel for a couple of nights. They asked for my passport and I handed them my Thai ID instead. They were perfectly happy with that.

 

I am not saying thou that is a reason to get an ID,  ... just the contrary ... I would say you do not need it.  BUT I am also saying some organisations DO accept it in lieu of a passport.

Has the yellow house book and pink ID been of any benifit to you?

pink id is a waste of time. nobody will accept it because it has no chip in it like Thai id's

you go to the local amphur & in the Thai id section you should find the office that deals with house books.. technically it involves a police check and a few forms. many places do it in a couple of days if they sit on it a 1000 or 2 will generally make it happen.

out of interest guys the new sai tai mai will be closing and busses will be going back to the old bus station. its just around the corner from me. My wife says they refuse to pay the high rents on the new place and are off back to the old place. I think its going to be this year.

in my local office the guy who does yellow books sits on them for months unless you bribe him he was quite upfront about it. mine took 3 days. The big boss at the office is a friend of my Mrs. ????

to clean use oxygen cleaner and 12% peroxide (used by hairdressers) mix together and wipe on leave for 5 mins and wipe off. mine went from yellow to white ???? ???? 

adblock software can help but you have to get used to the idea that free has overheads that have to be paid for somehow. Making sure that you click on advertising, even by mistake,  brings in revenue and pays wages as does regular advertising or sponsorship of parts of the site. sometimes its annoying but often main software upgrades play havoc with aspects of sites until addons catch up.
