There are a lot of immigration offices in each area and the reason for the 1 month stamp is to ensure that every application that is received at division headquarters from each immigration office can be accessed. House inspections are done by the local immigration investigation team. As division headquarters do not know how many extension application there are going to be at any period of time that have a blanket 1 month time frame.

All divisional hq are at CW. I met the head of an out of bangkok division  there in his office.

Whilst I am sure that the likes of Johnson, Rees-Mogg and others of their ilk would welcome such; I seriously doubt it.

Even were it to happen, why would that be the EU's biggest fear? There are plenty of tax havens already; such as the RoI. Which in case you haven't noticed is a member of the EU!

Yup but these are only tiny economies. Could you imagine the world's 5th biggest as a tax haven? I too don't see it happening but it would offset the 6%.

I  believe that this country's future is better with the EU than without it. As we are no longer a member that means an equitable trade deal.

That does not mean bending over and taking it!

It also does not mean the UK saying to the EU "this is what we want; take it or leave it!'

Will we survive without a EU trade deal? Maybe; eventually. But how long will it take to find markets to replace the 43% of our exports which currently go to the EU?

What will happen to the British economy and British jobs until we do replace that market; or, worst of all, if we never do?

We will become a tax haven.  The EU's biggest  fear ????

You seems to be confused by this quote transam.

I am aware my English is not always perfectly understandable for Britons.

I will try to do better :

You claimed that the UK can't do what it wants due to the E.U..

I claim that this is not the case in Belgium, and so far I know neither in other European countries member of the E.U..

That we, men in the street, don't feel any concrete influence from the E.U. in our daily life.

And if it is the case in the U.K., to let us know here, what they may be.

    Hope it helps.

Aha but you do. You are not clever enough to know what ???? most of us are also not clever enough, however, I think UK workers will lose a lot of benefits which they gained by the UK being part of the EU. I really don't  see any benefits from the UK leaving the EU except imaginary ones, however, that said we need to protect what little benefits we have/own from outside exploitation.  Free access to UK waters for  foreign fishermen is too big a price to pay. If you want UK fish you buy them! Unless of course you give us all free German cars ????????

The demands of the EU are simple: you want to do business inside the Union, than in accordance with EU laws, rules and regulations. In case of a dispute: EU courts are the only to decide. Both Boris denies.

Fish... is only in the UK an issue.

However, what everybody seems to forget: Anyone, who thinks

    a) any industry wants to take the resultk not to get raw materials, spare parts or components in time seen possibly line up of trucks at the UK-EU border ?? Of course not, and are switching to EU origin.

    b) any retailer, who reserves shop shelf space for products there is no supply guarantee or no idea about the cost price seen import duty ? Of course not. Place si already being taken by EU origin products.

And same on the other side of the cod pool, in the UK.

A Hard Brexit is already happening, whatever the politicians might find out.

These rules were not imposed on Canada.

Everyone accepts and agrees with you having to conform to EU standards to import goods. The UK has been aligned for almost 50 years in this respect.

British territorial waters are just that "British" Try telling that to the French and Spanish!

Any moderation of disputes should be independent .
