it thinks it is .. not commenting on what other countries believe it is. Just like Thailand. I have to educate folk outside that it has a "pretend" election process. And power centres on the military and head of state .

Poverty? UK doesnt know what poverty is. Go to SE Asian countries where there is no welfare then you will see poverty.

absolutely. Thai gov schools are not about "Learning"  its a process. About having fake grades so it can get the money and also get parents to send their kids to this "high achieving school"  its all BS  I'm in the middle of it now at a school in Ayutthaya province

All the games on Thai TV channels have had English commentary .what a relief. Commentary has been fine. No egos. Very different

The intersection of Theppraya and Thepprasit roads has this crossing, sure many of you know it , and this 'unfinished road repair  a massive hole ' is directly on a pedestrian crossing.and it's a month at least that it's been left unfinished.  Yes common place but where to report this.? I guess locals don't even bother .

You would think police in Pattaya would have more serious crime to investigate.. but we know the crimes they like to follow up .those that might have some £$¥¢€$$

We know how businesses exploit workers in Thailand. Particularly foreigners from neighbouring countries. I know of workers from Laos and Myanmar who work in a named hotel in Pattaya who are getting paid 9000 BAHT a month. That's working 6 days a week 11 hours a day . Guess what ? Very few Thais are prepared to work for that and those who do don't stay very long . Whats the regulations for this .300 BAHT a day still minimum wage in Pattaya ?
