My sister would like to visit me from the UK but won't if she has to quarantine and pay outrageous amounts to a monopoly hotel and be "banged up abroad" for two weeks. If they open up Pattaya to tourists, I presume all the unvaccinated sex workers will come flooding back in off the fields, won't that be a tiny issue? Also I don't know any Thai people in the Pattaya area who have been vaccinated and people around me say they cant get it and if they can its only Sinovac which they don't want of course (as we know that is ineffective against variants) Most of my Farang friends including myself, however have been able to get Pfizer or AZ jabs quite easily. Normally its the Thais who get the best deal but in this case perhaps the Gov is scared of "Big fat mouth Farang" and has gone out of their way and given them what they want to "shut em up"!!!!! Just wondering.

I believe the penalties will be very severe for this incredibly clever gentleman, either a transfer to an inactive post in Nakon Nowhere or, worst still hidden away in Dubai or some equally impoverished nation and only allowed to take the small amount of money he hid away in his wife's name, probably as low as a measly subsistence amount of 800M or so. Of course we all feel very sorry for this pillar of the community now at the mercy of the notoriously strict Thai legal system.

No, if you look very carefully its been modified with a little red arrow on the top, its spun around so if it points directly to the suspect it indicates "as guily as <deleted>" but if it points to another officer around the table it indicates nothing and the case should be dropped and burried in a pit of paperwork.
