Agreed a discussion in a bar the other evening “coffee bar” you understand on this very subject, gave me the impression many uninsured Falang lives in fear on this very subject. Thai gvmnt you are missing an opportunity, if Falang are chased out the pensions stop coming in, so why not take say 2500 a month from those willing to pay, i for one would jump at the chance at 72 knowing that it’s this or nothing. -
I didn’t need to be told about the risks from family friends or where ever, my parents ensiled in me common sense and that has got me to 72 years of age without to much bother, common sense is all you need to get through life. With regard education in Thailand, i was shocked when my wife’s daughter asked me to check her online English work, I was shocked this is 12/13 year old stuff and she is waiting to go to high school, a typical example, Mr Jones says “ I will ………………, took, take, 6 please. before you all tell me this is not a Thai child’s first language, she is and has been doing English language at her school, and wants to be an interpreter, she will learn a lot more from me on her weekends at home if she ever gets to High school.
