  1. Being married doesn't mean that you can automatically adopt. There are many more factors to be considered. ???? 2 heterosexual neo-nazis that served 10 years in prison for armed robbery won't be able to adopt, besides being married. You're welcome. ????
  2. We have a fiber optic 3BB package from around 3 years ago. 100mb down, with I think around 30mb up (speed test now shows around 100mb both up and down.) 699thb per month, around 730 with tax. I now see they offer fiber optic 1Gb down 100 up for 590thb. Is it simply a case of calling them or going to a 3bb kiosk and switching to the cheaper newer faster product?
  3. Sure. Plenty of normal families looking to adopt. Give the kid a normal, natural life/upbringing. ????
  4. Could be a southern or Isaan Thai. Wouldn't that be something. The police would give her 10/10 for finger pointing at the ID parade.
  5. Let's hope and pray that Thais don't try to get revenge by the first ever assault upon a Western female in Thailand.
  6. I went on a helicopter ride around age 12. As an adult I wouldn't. As the industry says, when the engine fails, a plane glides down, a helicopter is nothing more than a brick.
  7. That's some punishment, not even allowed to get the girls to do it.
  8. Get a Certificate of Residence from your local IO. Then start the process of getting a yellow house book, so you never need to get one again when getting a driving licence or buying vehicles, opening a bank account etc.
  9. Yeah, I certainly notice that. Would rather be in the company of hungry cheetahs.
  10. A Nigerian with money to open a business. "I'm going to open a totally legit business in Vietnam, or possibly in Cambodia selling clothes" Said no Nigerian ever.
  11. Can't have $$$ leaving the country now, can we. How long until the crystal meth is released on bail?
  12. You must be new here. The 2015 amendment was not about the times of day, it was amending the 10 liter threshold and locations of where it could or could not be sold. The 2-5pm law predates the amendment by years. Obviously you weren't living here before then. ???? Even read some of the posts in that thread. Do you understand now?
  13. It sometimes would be, but not often. I was refused at 16:50 at a Tops supermarket. I smiled, they started picking them up to put them back and I told them 'Oh wait, I'll buy them in 10 minutes, just leave them next to the check-out' then sat down on a bench behind the checkout with a book for 10 minutes. There were no more customers at they called me after 6 or 7 minutes to scan them through. I was also caught one valentines day in Siam Paragon when I went to buy a bottle of wine, the whole wine shop was locked, with the staff girls inside looking very embarrassed that an adult cannot buy a bottle of red wine while on the way home on valentines day.
  14. Once again, this law has been in place since long, long before 2015.
  15. No it isn't. It was in place, but lightly enforced when I moved here almost 15 years ago. Some cashiers at supermarkets etc would refuse to sell it, causing many a Western expat to lose the plot. I read it was originally introduced to stop students buying alcohol at lunchtime and not going back to school. The 24 hour ban within 400 meters or whatever of schools was a few years ago. Like banning alcohol on trains because some local ticket boy was drunk and drugged on yaba and raped and killed an 8 year old female passenger, it's just stupid.
