  1. A reentry permit will preserve the "Permission to Stay" date. I have used it for tourist visa but never for exempt but technically I don't see why not. But there is no need as I mentioned earlier. You can get another exempt entry with a new Permission to Stay" date beyond your current one.
  2. They did not have the technology to construct an island in the middle of the sea. Otherwise, they would have taken over World's sea.
  3. I don't love China as I country but I am not here to bash Chinese, Indian, and Thais to preserve the sensitive egos of farangs who could neither find a women in their own lands or could survive in their home countries and had to flee to a foreign land for brides and survival.
  4. Same as any other nationalities. And the impact on hotel industry is meagre to none at all. I rented out a condo from a Chinese national though a Thai agent. I don't rent from farang agents because I view them unable to run businesses in their home land due to their characters and had to run away from their homeland.
  5. To preserve you "Permission to Stay" date you need a re-netry permit but why bother? You can enter Thailand again visa exempt and get a new Permission to Stay date.
  6. Taiwan and most of China (Eastern China) was under Japanese control, Dutch Control, etc. But it was province since Qing Dynasty and most people are Chinese and speak Chinese. They're not Japanese and don't speak Japanese.
  7. So, Chinese people have so much money that they can drive up the prices and leave the unit vacant till it deteriorates. Is it Chinese fault or city planners?
  8. If it is dangerous, it is the fault of Cambodia. But it is not the dangerous city on the World. Taiwan is China's province. After looting China, they took the gold and empty the Chinese treasury and fled to Taiwan. So techincally, Taiwan belongs to China it has always been from time antiquity.
  9. Why China would give free loan to African countries? They borrow from China for development and China takes advantage of that. Which European countries don't do that? China has never fired a shot or enslave one person in South America or Africa to forcefully take anybody land or gold or properties.
  10. Because they have the money? At least they are not looting, pillaging, and taking by force like colonial Europe did in China, Asia, and Africa. Are people jealous that the Chinese have the money to buy property in London and they have to leave their own lands to find a women in a foreign country to survive on a "wify visa" that must be renewed every year.
  11. My goodness. Load of responses to a simple post. I leave my condo for months at a time (max 9 months), and nothing happened and I did not have to come to this forum for asking suggestions to keep my condo empty.
  12. I don't think so. It may reduce the number initially and with time it will pick up again.
  13. Tourists from India are mostly independent travellers or group of seminar participants, wedding group participants, gambling group participants, etc.
  14. Ok, Thanks for unnecessary information to my question. My question was how much you pay for a one night hotel for a TM30? Even if it is a few hundred bahts cheaper, it is better to give to an agent for a hands-free extension without the trouble of registering into a hotel just for a TM30.
  15. What about the hotel cost? In Pattaya, an agent can file TM30 for 1,000 baht. Nothing is required except the passport.
  16. How do I know she is not even a bar girl? Any person who can't find girls from their own land to marry and have to travel 10,000 miles to find a bride? If the OP told the age difference, I could have been more certain.
  17. How do you now she had no interest marrying Chinese? All bar girls I met in Thailand told me they are not interested in farangs. Only interested in Thai handsome men. They go with farang and even marry a farang only for money.
  18. Second road has designated pedestrian crossings. But I have seen many drunk people attempting to cross the road anywhere they want, especially late at night when traffic is thin and when traffic is thin many people also drive at high speed (I assume the limit on that road is 40 km/h).
  19. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1097600/racial-and-ethnic-diversity-of-ceos-in-the-united-states/ There are currently 60 (12%) Indian American CEOs in S&P 500. https://www.cnbctv18.com/business/companies/what-makes-indian-origin-ceos-rise-to-the-top-of-fortune-500-companies-14446172.htm
  20. The citizenship is not an arbitrary paperwork. Ignoring citizenship and ethnicity by educated persons, including newspaper reporters, is like living in the middle ages.
  21. I found it the best thing since sliced bread. So easy now. I sit in front of computer and apply in five minutes now as I have all my documents in one folder in my computer. Prior to that, make copies, assemble them, go buy MO, put everything in the envelope and then go to PO to buy stamps and post it along with the passport. I had missed my Bahama tour. Now it is God sent and and so easy. Done in five minutes and get it in email after one week.
  22. Can't have dual citizenship as India does not allow a person to keep their Indian citizenship once you get citizenship of another country. Even educated Thai people including reporters have a very narrow views of the world and have a tendency to assign citizenship of a person based on their ethnicity. I can't make any educated Thais believe me that 50% S&P 500 CEOs are first generation Indian (they are Indian Americans) and that the average income of Indian Americans are twice that of the Europeans Americans. They lack basic understanding of citizenship and ethnicity.
  23. How many years? Did you have to leave Thailand after being banned?
