  1. Can't see it's any funnier than when it popped up on page 1529, and it wasn't then…….
  2. I would not bother with an imogi. Thanks for explaining this "good joke"; I looked this guy up; he died in 1995. This might have been funny then, or within a couple of decades. All the topicals, as we used to say.......
  3. Gerroff…. they're all FCCTTBTGT+ (or possibly minus).
  4. It's ok – till it goes wrong. Try seeking help. They tell you to turn your system inside out, including resetting just about everything, just because their app decided not to return after I took a 5-minute pause. I have found a workround, with none of their help, but I will not be renewing – assuming I don't sue them for non-delivery of service. Warning: the help-desk m**kies are called the “customer success team”. Pass the sick bag, Alice………..
  5. RIP Bill Tidy - one of the best cartoonists of all time: “Yes, but is there any news of the iceberg?” Cartoon by Bill Tidy
  6. well she was asking for it.......
  7. Very flat, Dutch comedy.............
  8. Well in my neck of the woods (Samut Prakan), 711s were already not selling at 1300 Sunday. Signs up and everything. Fortunately, Mom n' Pop disagree, as usual, so I won't go thirsty - but just as well I checked at lunchtime for a change.
  9. As I said, the last report I saw (in a national newspaper, to be fair...) said free public trials to start in December 2022. 2042 sounds entirely plausible if not optimistic. What a waste of resources, as usual.
  10. Yeah, from Samrong to On Nut looks both complete and forlorn, and that's the bit I need! Agree entirely about ticketing - HKG's Octopus is the daddy of all the systems, but every other big city has it and it's a disgrace BKK can't (read "won't") get its act together.
  11. One of the greatest TiT frustrations is the way projects never seem to get completed around BKK. The new train station at Bang Sue is one example – a vast, wasteful new “hub” yet the old Hua Lampong is still operating. Of course these projects serve their purpose, which is to make money for those constructing them, so one can see them as 'complete' in that sense. But I wonder if anyone has useful info regarding any alleged progress on two projects in particular: 1. Yellow Line monorail: infrastructure complete, trials were promised for last December, but nothing happening. It's built and ready, there is rolling stock, but nothing running. Anyone know when? 2. new road overpass at Klong Toei: at least three years now and it's nowhere near ready – traffic on the ground is back to nightmarish. Again, anyone know when or even if it might ever be finished?
  12. As others have said, dtac is worse than others and your quoted esim deal doesn't work. Get your inaccurate ads off this forum.
  13. you could try BPS on Suk 39, 02 160 0333. Not the cheapest physios but a couple of sessions there will still be cheaper than the 8000 for an MRI which they might make unnecessary. I have found that persistent long-term rc cuff pain has been solved by simple regular specific exercises that I do (almost!) every day. Both sides have been painfree for ages now.
