  1. Will agree with china town as the best place to buy gold ! Three questions I was wondering for long time.

If I buy some gold bullion in Thailand , and want to sell it in Australia , no counting the fluctuation of gold , did I will get the same amount for the gold ?

Did my Thai gold will be accepted?

If you buy gold in Australia from the gold bullion company what is the tax to be paid ?

    cheer

  2. Been there three months ago , Entry visa was around 2000 bahts .

I got from Thai consulate a entry visa valid two month , been ask if i want a extra one ( did not need too ) . Do not know for business visa.

trip with TG airline was under 10000 bahts , saw there so good deal with i think Lufthansa and Air france.

Got some cafe bean for espresso machine, chocolate and lot lot of cheese , forgot the avocado in the hotel fridge :o

Hotel was a little bit expensive , but my own choice , saw some good hotel for 30-35 USA.

If you buy pork look for the shop with refrigerated unit .

  4. Hello everyone !

Need to go back to Australia to apply for a new visa, the last 4 years been able to get 3*3 month, with visa O with my Australian passport.

I am not yet 50 (45) and can not apply for a retirement!

I have sufficient income coming from Australia to live in Thailand and apply for retirement in the future.

I do not work in Thailand !

My questions are : Did Melbourne consulate is ok for this application ( my usual place ) and welcome for other recommendations as I am not sure about the new policy ?

I hold a French passport too.

    Thank you

I bought him in Chatuchak , poor pup was not well at first ( cough and ears infection ), many trip to the vet ! very cheap around 150 bahts a visit .

Now eat like elephant and only 3 guide michelin food ( ceasar ) 27 bahts a box , need 1 and half box a day.

Love mean to buy toys too ( same as gold for human ) ! that is cheap ( the toys NOT the gold ).

Shampoo and beauty stuff not to expensif

Tablet and medecine around 200 bahts a month.

Going away and living your dog in a bording place is the hardest ! 200 – 300 bahts a day.

Vet close by to your place is best , no taxi cost.

The pup cost me 7000 bahts .

Great to have but take a lot of you time .

It will be your responsibility is you buy it !

    .... I hope !

  6. Hi jwildgrube,

I have a pug, I got it as a pup three years ago , and sometime I find myself I need to put in Thonglor animal hospital because I need to go away.

Great to have animal but it take a lot of commitment, and feel sad to see him going in a cage.

No need to tell you he is more happy with grill chicken / aircond / pillow.

    The monster has own www.page:

Generally going away 2 weeks a year, plus visa run and odd Huahin trip.

Any one have better solution ?

    bye
