I have read Favipiravir is working well to relieve symptoms and even cure patients. With upwards of 77% recovery rate Thailand must be doing something right.

With only 359 hospitalised cases from 65 million population and over 77% recovery rate to date. From the 50 deaths 95% had pre-existing health problems so don't you think it is time to reopen the country. As someone said, more chance of dying on the roads.

The reason there are fewer fiu deaths is because they are being classed as covid 19, this is only my opinion but to me it makes sense.

Of course it will be covid related, I havn't seen many other deaths recently that arn't.

So how does any government department get to accumulate such a vast amount of money, (1.4 trillion baht) when so many Thais struggle to make ends meet. A large portion of this money should be going to help out the poorer Thai families not to line the rich Thais pockets. I love this country but i dispise the corruption.

So what did they do to cure him so fast and why can't they do the same for everyone else???
Or is the cost to expensive, two nurses looking after him around the clock and what medications?

I personally think it is totally wrong for a foreigner to take free giveaways from the government in times when so many Thais are suffering, if you cannot afford to live here do not be here. How many cheap charlie falungs have taken care packages that could have gone to needy Thai families, again that is why we all get a bad name.

So accidents are now being blamed on covid 19, go figure, what comes next.

I have to go from Chaiyaphum to Pattaya to pay my rent on the bar and pick up 3 ladies who are staying in the bar but live in Chaiyaphum, although I send money to my ladies they prefer to come home. What problems might i face???
-
Wow, I have 9 chickens that produce between 5-7 eggs a day, I only eat 2 a day so give the rest away to our friends and family in the village. I go to Pattaya once a month but my friends there don't want them.

Why have the Thai govt not closed all flights into Thailand except to bring Thai nationals home? This is to stop new cases coming in as most other countries have done around the world.
-
I thought Pattaya was in a semi lockdown but there seems to be a lot of vehicles and people wandering around in that photo.

Good publicity stunt, I personally paid all my full time staff full salary and free accomodation until the end of the month and will review it if the bars do not reopen. I am sure many other bars are doing the same. I did not put my bar name down on purpose.

Lots of restaurants/bars are still open and advertising food and cold beers on a daily basis, until these places are closed down the same as bars nothing will change.

Good idea lets put our heads in the sand and ignore the situation, let 1 person come up with all the stupid ideas then when it backfires we can blame him. What happened to all cabinet members wearing face masks to prevent the spread or have they all decided they don't work???

I was led to believe all gambling in Thailand was illegal or does that only apply to falang playing bridge etc.
-
So if food courts can do that why can't bars stay open and do the same???

16000 deaths should be acceptable after all that is less than the current road deaths.

So restaurants and shopping centres are exempt, WHY??? I can only presume you can not spread the virus in these croaded places.

Had a big storm here in Chaiyaphum lasting approx 20 min, next day I had to dig a hole and the rain had only penetrated the ground by approx 4 inches then bone dry again. Any rain is helpful but by no means enough yet.

I Thailand still letting the Chinese in, if yes then why???

If he did not write or approve the comments then whoever did on his behalf should be bought up on charges and sacked. That might save face for him and the government.

I have lived in Thailand for 15 years and love the place but my wife her family and myself think thin health minister is a discusting little man. All I do is try to respect the country that I have adopted as my home and people like him make it very very hard.

Only 2 left in hospital, open Buriram and let people make a living again, keep road blocks in place but why close all shops for 2 sick people???
