Some of the jalapenos grown in Thailand have considerable heat. A friend brought me some he bought at the market in Sattahip that were among the hottest I've ever tried. I sliced them without gloves and my hands were on fire. I normally don't experience this

As for me, this is one of the things I like Thailand for. If someone really feels the need for a sports car with a huge engine and fuel consumption, he should pay a hefty premium for it. Still, I do not think Thai roads (quality or traffic wise) are made for sports cars, trucks are the way to go.
Let me see if I understand. You like Thailand because sports cars are expensive? That's a new one.

It's called 'laundering' not tailoring. If they are not tax relief spin offs they are launderers of currency. Simple really. So why not investigated? Well tea money from an Indian business is peanuts.
This is an awfully strong allegation. What proof can you provide?

All noisy bikes should be brand -labelled: 'Look-at-me' bikes often driven by aging rockers who should know better than trying to re-capture their lost youth.
How would you label parents with screaming brats that are heard every day, not once per year?

A bit strange for someone with kids to discuss noise pollution. Rather hear Harleys than kids

That'a a VERY expensive fuel-dump. 12 hours of avgas needing to be dumped to reach a safe landing weight..holy cow. Anyone knows what happens to the fuel at altitude after it's dumped? Just out of interest.
Let's hope they didn't load avgas into a jet.

looked at Carryboy's website?
It seems Boy/Sound Air is the only outlet ffor Carrboy installations, at least that I could find.
I don't know about Carryboy Pattaya. Mine was fitted in Chonburi. I just assumed there was a shop.

Only a criminal wouldn't like cops. Aiding and abetting a crime is a crime in Thailand, though they don't call it that.
Suppose a drunk avoids a checkpoint reading your list, kills a couple, or you. You happy now?
I will bet that the only time you ever drove over the speed limit that you went straight to the poilce station and turned yourself in

Refineries do not normally get shut down so readily. New projects are being put on the shelf though. Nothing wrong with $1000 per day. It's a living wage. with a downturn in new projects, companies will try to reduce salaries. They always do.

Is it tourists, or is it those who live here also? I've never experienced an incident because I speak Thai.
If you live here, learn the lingo. If you don't.... not much will change in ATTACKING tourists, I'm afraid.
How do you figure the BIB know which farang speak Thai before approaching them? You are mistaken
-
Here's a theory and it is only a theory;-
1. It is often reported in the media that the BIB support he whom resides in Dubai and his entourage.
2. There has been a recent case of one top BIB and his entourage being defamed very recently under the new powers that be.
3. The present powers that be want to encourage quality tourists to LOS
4. Is it not therefore possible, that the BIB are giving a sort of backhanded message in the manner of , up yours matey!! , we will do everything we can to counteract everything you are trying to do, to recover tourism , until we get some sort of parity with what you are all now getting away with ???
Could it be that organised ???
Just a possible theory.
Good thinking. I have lived in Thailand many years and know this goes on. Has happened to me and certainly don't dress shabbily. But never like this. Something is going on

I replaced mine with stainless steel. While cheap stainless will still rust, the process is slow

I do find the guys defending these nasty night crawlers quite amusing.
One can only assume why that is.
Yuck.
Might want to straighten your halo

I deep fry mine.
I brought a simple deep fryer and source peanut oil regionally.
I have a secured outdoor location where I do this.
This would be my second time and last year it turned out very good... So knock on wood for a repeat.
Most of the sides dishes I buy locally as I just don't have the time, or the skills set, do it myself with any assurance on the degree of the level of edible outcome.
Where do you find peanut oil in Thailand? I've looked but wound up using Mazola which has a high smoke point

As mentioned, go to Tigglebittie's
