Thais are not welcome in the USA, though it's some years since I went there. Took me 10 minutes or so to get through immigration while my Thai friend took over an hour. The reason they're not welcome is the number that enter USA and then 'disappear'. It seems to be a problem.

They disappear to thaiify the us and teach them some thai as thai would be the number 1 language in 10 years. 

Sorry to jump into your thread. but I think it's not appropriate for them to bother someone who is legally married and has relevant visa. 

But I hope she was treated nicely and with full respect and she was not intimidated by uk officials.

Indians don't even like to pay barfine.  The go go owners know it. Many times go go staff dont call indians or indian looking people. they call farangs and jump to korean japanese tourist.

And as per my observation Chinese tour groups spend a lot of money buying thai products. I have seen them with multiple plastic bags with thai made eatables,snacks, dried fruits etc.

That's 15 days for voa. Visa exempt is 30 days.but I never saw majority indians staying that long.

Same for indians. But that's not exactly an extension. That's just a permission to leave the country in 7 days for a fee of 1900 baht.
